Abstract

Program Pengembangan Keterampilan Hidup melalui pelatihan kaligrafi di PKBM Al Mubarok 2 Genteng Banyuwangi dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan hidup (life skills) warga belajar Paket C. Pelatihan ini dimulai dengan identifikasi kebutuhan peserta dan penyusunan kurikulum yang mencakup teknik kaligrafi, manajemen waktu, kerja sama tim, serta keterampilan berwirausaha. Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah partisipatif, melibatkan demonstrasi langsung oleh instruktur, praktek mandiri, dan evaluasi berkala untuk memastikan pemahaman dan kemajuan peserta. Motivasi warga belajar diperkuat melalui pemberian sertifikat, penghargaan untuk karya terbaik, serta pameran hasil karya. Dukungan psikososial juga diberikan untuk membantu peserta mengatasi hambatan pribadi dan sosial. Evaluasi pelatihan dilakukan secara berkala melalui penilaian hasil karya, observasi, dan feedback dari peserta, yang kemudian digunakan untuk menyempurnakan program. Selain itu, PKBM Al Mubarok 2 menjalin kerjasama dengan komunitas seni lokal dan lembaga lainnya untuk memperluas akses dan peluang bagi peserta pelatihan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan artistik, rasa percaya diri, dan peluang usaha bagi warga belajar. Pelatihan kaligrafi tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter, kreativitas, dan kemampuan beradaptasi warga belajar dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan sehari-hari. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan yang komprehensif dan partisipatif dalam pelatihan keterampilan hidup dapat memberikan manfaat yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Sustainable agriculture is an important approach to improving the welfare of farmers in Indonesia, requiring understanding and application of sustainable technologies by many farmers. The community service program titled "Optimizing Sustainable Agricultural Practices to Improve the Welfare of Coffee Farmers: A Case Study in Banyuwangi Regency," was held on January 13-14, 2024, involving 20 participants. The choice of this topic was based on the urgent need to enhance agricultural sustainability in the face of climate change and technological challenges. This activity used methods such as mapping and initial analysis of coffee farming conditions, including identifying existing practices and challenges. Primary data was collected through interviews with farmers and local government, as well as secondary data such as agricultural statistics. This data was then qualitatively analyzed to identify common patterns, challenges, and opportunities. Subsequently, workshops and training sessions for farmers on various topics related to sustainable agricultural practices and farm management were conducted. Following this, the recommended sustainable agricultural practices were implemented and monitored to measure their impact on farmers' welfare. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills, farmer empowerment, and the formation of collaborative networks. Recommendations for further research include studies on economic impacts and socio-cultural aspects. Overall, this activity made a positive contribution to local agriculture, improved farmers' welfare, supported sustainable agriculture, and has the potential to become a model for implementing sustainable practices at the community level. Abstract

This study aims to optimize the potential of female santri at Pondok Lirboyo through the implementation of life skill hampers as an economic empowerment strategy based on Islamic boarding schools. The background of this research stems from the need to improve the economic skills of female santri in the pesantren, in order to create economic independence that can support their lives outside the pesantren. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study, involving interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The participants in this study are the female santri involved in the life skill hampers program, the pesantren caretakers, and other related parties. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of life skill hampers successfully enhanced the skills of female santri in areas such as handicrafts, product packaging, and small business management. This program also had a positive impact on the economic improvement of the santri by creating marketable products. The implications of this research highlight the importance of developing life skill hampers programs as part of economic empowerment based on pesantren, which can provide business opportunities and enhance the economic independence of santri. In conclusion, the life skill hampers program can be an effective solution in optimizing the potential of female santri at Pondok Lirboyo, opening sustainable economic opportunities that strengthen their welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to foster students’ creativity and instill local wisdom values through the implementation of batik jumputan activities at SDN Tlogomas 2, Malang City. The background of this research stems from the importance of culturally-based education in shaping character and appreciating local heritage from an early age. The batik jumputan learning activity is considered effective in combining artistic skills with local values such as perseverance, cooperation, and cultural appreciation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques during the period of May 5–9, 2025. Participants included classroom teachers, art and culture teachers, and students involved in the batik-making activities. The results show that batik jumputan activities provide a space for students to express themselves creatively through exploration of colors and patterns, while also enhancing their understanding of local culture. The learning process also fostered a collaborative and enjoyable atmosphere, strengthening social relationships among students. The findings imply that integrating local wisdom into art education plays a strategic role in character formation and cultural identity development. In conclusion, the implementation of batik jumputan at SDN Tlogomas 2 can serve as an effective strategy to cultivate creativity and embed local wisdom values in a contextual and sustainable manner.
