Falls occur due to an unintentional loss of balance resulting in a failure of postural stability, or an unexpected and sudden change in position resulting in landing on the floor. Associated risk factors include current health status (living in the community, nursing home, hospital, frail or active state), existing illness (diabetes, hip fracture, stroke) and general changes associated with aging (decreased balance, coordination, muscle strength, visual impairment, etc.). The elderly are an age group that is vulnerable to falls. The purpose of this service is to detect the risk of falls in the elderly and provide assistance in balance training as an effort to prevent the risk of falls in the elderly. The output targets to be achieved are in the form of accredited national journal publications and Copyright for videos of community service activities. The method used is a fall risk detection examination using the Time Up and Go Test and continued with the provision of balance training, so that the elderly who have a risk of falling can be recognized as early as possible so that the provision of balance training can maintain and improve the balance of the elderly body.

Evacuation drills, public kitchen preparation, stretcher and tent management, refugee management, and village government coordination are some examples of training for the community as an effort to deal with volcanic eruptions. In the preparedness cycle is a series of actions taken to anticipate disasters through organization and through appropriate and effective steps. Early warning is a series of activities to provide warnings as soon as possible to the public about the possibility of a disaster at a place by an authorized institution. The implementation of disaster management in a situation where there is the potential for a disaster to occur as intended includes: preparedness, early warning, preparedness, preparation and testing of disaster emergency management plans, organizing, installing and testing early warning systems, providing and preparing supplies to meet basic needs, organizing, training, and rehearsals on emergency response mechanisms, preparing evacuation locations, compiling accurate data, information, updating fixed procedures for disaster emergency response, and equipment to fulfill the restoration of infrastructure and facilities. Public health in the face of disaster situations also needs to be improved in order to create a disaster-ready, benari and resilient community.
