Abstract

Many aspects have been significantly impacted by the Covid-19 epidemic and the new normal conditions that accompany it. Various innovations in public services follow these changes and become new models for adapting to uncertain times. It is hoped that the availability of digital technology platforms will provide a shortcut and ease in accessing public services as well as efforts to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. One of them is Malaysia and the Indonesian government which use the MySejahtera and PeduliLindungi application systems. In Indonesia and Malaysia, the COVID-19 epidemic has had a significant impact on the adoption of online digital health applications. This research methodology, also referred to as library research, combines qualitative research techniques with a library study approach. SatuSehat in Indonesia continues to operate nationally covering all regions of the country after the pandemic with new features that have been developed from the previous PeduliLindungi. On the other hand, the use of MySejahtera in Malaysia is currently only intended for people who have been verified as positive for Covid-19, which is used to update the quarantine period.

Abstract

This study assesses the budget implementation of the Sidoarjo Regency Government from 2019 to 2022, focusing on effectiveness, efficiency, and economic performance. Using a descriptive quantitative approach with document analysis, the findings indicate that while the government has met economic criteria and shown improved effectiveness, efficiency has been less satisfactory, particularly in 2022. Despite surpassing budget revenue targets, inefficiencies arose due to higher expenditures than revenues. The study highlights the need for better budget management and resource allocation to enhance overall performance. Highlight: Economic Criteria Met: Consistent economic performance over four years. Improved Effectiveness: Surpassed budget revenue targets. Efficiency Issues: Lower efficiency, especially in 2022. Keyword: Budget implementation, effectiveness, efficiency, economic performance, Sidoarjo Regency

Abstract

The South Tangerang City Government (Tangsel) is trying to make a new innovation in online-based public services, this is done because South Tangerang City is a city that carries the concept of 'Smart City'. TangselPay is one of the products that embodies the Smart City concept because it is a digital-based payment. The purpose of this research is to see how effective the TangselPay application is in the development of E-Government in South Tangerang City. The author sees that the existence of the Tangsel Smart City policy which gave birth to the TangselPay application can open the way between the Tangsel City government and the community. The research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations of the TangselPay application, and observations of related documents such as policies, system operational procedures and other obtained documentation. The results of the study show that there is still a lack of effectiveness in the TangselPay application, the main factor that the authors consider to be an obstacle is the very minimal socialization regarding the TangselPay application to the people of South Tangerang so that people who do not know about the existence of the TangselPay application from 2019 to 2022 dominate. This can be an evaluation of the South Tangerang City government so that it is optimal in realizing the Smart City concept as the development of E-Government in South Tangerang City.
