Abstract

Every educational institution must pay attention to the quality of education it has, because through the quality of education, each institution or individual will know the quality of the educational institution being managed. The quality of education also has a close relationship with the quality of learning carried out in schools so that it can improve the quality of students both in terms of morals and intellectuals. SD XY is one of the elementary schools in Central Java with an A accreditation score. However, the quality of the school as seen from the quality report cards is still low due to the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. For this reason, researchers want to conduct research with the title Implementation of SWOT Analysis in Improving Education Quality . The purpose of this study is to find out information about the strategy for improving the quality of education at SD XY as a result of a SWOT analysis. The research method used was qualitative by collecting data through observation and interviews with 25 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The data collected was then analyzed through a SWOT analysis so that it is known that there are several ways that schools can do to improve the quality of their education, namely improving the quality of teachers, completing learning facilities or facilities and infrastructure, improving school finances, conducting comparative studies, conducting good communication with student parents. and the community as the tricenter of education, as well as conducting periodic supervision of learning
