Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the human resource development efforts carried out by the organization for each staff, as well as to determine the increase in competency as a result of human resource development related to each staff's field of work. In this research, a narrative qualitative approach was used, where a series of events were studied and told in detail using descriptive research with a total of 8 informants with three criteria serving as designers of HR development given to staff or employees at the Kumala Foundation, parties who take part in HR development at the Kumala Foundation, parties who receive services at the Kumala Foundation. The data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and document study. In selecting informants, the purposive sampling technique was carried out where the sample collection did not represent the entire population but was directed to address specific situations that were relevant to the research objectives. The qualitative approach aims to collect facts and data in the field using a theoretical approach to form new concepts. The results of research and analysis show that the Kumala Foundation has carried out various trainings such as communication training, leadership training, report writing training, waste financial management training, waste recording training, partnership training, social entrepreneurship development training, training of trainers (TOT), waste management training, and training in making recycled products. These various efforts have succeeded in increasing staff competency in accordance with their respective fields of work, providing benefits for their personal and professional growth.
