Abstract

In 2020 corn production in TTU Regency experienced a decrease in corn productivity by 21.91 percent from 2019 corn production of 46,621 tons to 36,406, one of which is Central Insana District. This study aims to: (1) Identify the geographical and non-geographical factors that influence the potential for maize crop failure in Insana Tengah Subdistrict, (2) Identify the efforts made by the people of Insana Tengah in dealing with maize crop failure. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method with variable X in the form of geographical factors namely rainfall, sunshine, slope while variable Y is potential corn crop failure. The study population was 895 farmers with a sample of 90 farmers from 7 villages in Insana Tengah sub-district determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. Data sources consisted of primary and secondary data collected by observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The analysis method uses descriptive analysis, multiple correlation, with Microsoft Excel, and SPSS software. The results showed that: (1) Geographical factors in the form of slope have a higher influence than the intensity of rainfall, the intensity of solar irradiation, has an influence of 0.638 while, the intensity of rainfall, the intensity of solar irradiation 0.287 and 0.294. (2) Efforts made by the community are in the form of non-geographical factors, in dealing with pest attacks on corn plants the community does by means of technical culture control, namely by managing planting media, cleaning weeds, and providing fertilizers that are not excessive. Then chemical control is done by using active insecticides. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that geographical factors in the form of rainfall intensity, sunlight intensity, and slope have an influence on corn crop failure. The influence of geographical factors in the form of rainfall intensity, sunlight intensity, and slope on corn crop failure in Insana Tengah Subdistrict using multiple correlation analysis obtained a result of 0.759 which shows that the factors of rainfall intensity, sunlight intensity, and slope, have an influence of 76% on corn crop failure, while 24% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Earth Science System In The Community Learning Model is a model that is oriented towards problems that occur in the earth that can be solved within the scope of the community (society). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Earth Science Community (EarthComm) learning model i n geography subjects on students' spatial thinking skills at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang. The type of research used is quantitative research, the method used is quasi-experimental with the form of research design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study is all students of class XI IPS with sampling techniques using saturated sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. It is known that the average value of the control class is 69.57 and the experimental class is 75.86 so that there is a difference between the two. Based on the results of data analysis of the Independent Sample T-Test test, there is an effect of the Earth Science System in the Community (EarthComm) learning model in geography subjects on students' spatial thinking skills compared to the control class using the conventional model. The EarthComm learning model is recommended to be used as a variation of teacher learning in the application of the learning model. This model can also be develo ped by other researchers by adding moderator variables or other media.

Abstract

Pattern distribution land agriculture ricefield by ancestors Manggarai done in a way centered Where point the zero is in the middle land customary law will divided . ( 1) The land distribution system is viewed from social, economic and cultural aspects (2) rice field water distribution patterns and (3) strategies for preserving land distribution patterns. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data reduction and map analysis techniques. The results of this research show (1) fair distribution of rice fields helps reduce social and economic inequality in society . (2) There are springs located in the north and west ends which are channeled through irrigation program, so that many rice fields receive sufficient water, while rice fields in the eastern part can only be worked on during the rainy season Because lack water sources (3) Lodok has cultural heritage mark important that should preserved pattern distribution land This become an integral part of identity culture And tradition inherited locale to generation upcoming. Conclusion in study on Old Teno as Stakeholder Custom have right For control land that has been shared by old teno beforehand for the sake of interest together in order what has been inherited can become something that can beneficial for self Alone and others, Although there are two springs used for irrigation, the limited volume of the northern spring causes difficulties in irrigating rice fields in the easternmost part, especially during the dry season , Conservation Lodok No only involve holder custom And society, however Also supported by government through Service collaborative tourism with institution related For make Lodok as destination tourist.

Abstract

Kayu Putih Village has a large population, namely 54,726 people. As the population increases, the land needed to build houses will also increase. so that green open spaces are neglected. In the Ministerial Decree of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Defense Agency Number 14 of 2022, it is stated that 30% is allocated for green open space, of which 20% is public open space and 10% is private green open space. The objectives of this research: (1) determine the availability of green open space (RTH); (2) knowing the suitability of Green Open Space. This research uses quantitative descriptive research and uses remote sensing techniques and geographic information systems using data collection techniques, namely image interpretation, observation, literature study, documentation. Data analysis techniques include geometric correction, image interpretation, field surveys and analysis of green open space availability based on area area. The results of this research show that the distribution of public green open space is still very minimal. The distribution of green open space (RTH) in Kayu Putih Village shows varying areas. Area of Green Open Space for each Public RTH and Private RTH Areas. The area of green open space based on the area in Kayu Putih Village is 525 hectares, with a composition of public green open space of 356 hectares and private green open space of 175 hectares. Advice for the public to maintain cleanliness.

Abstract

The condition of rice field agricultural land in Lakekun Village has experienced a decrease in harvest yields, rice fields do not receive water supply through irrigation channels causing planting failure and harvest failure. The purpose of the study (1) To determine the level of intensification of the use of rice agricultural land in Lakekun Village in an effort to increase production, (2) To determine the carrying capacity of land for agricultural productivity, (3) To determine the increase in land quality. This research method is a quantitative method and a qualitative approach. The results of the study (1) Intensification applied by farmers through the selection and use of superior seeds such as ciherang, impari and seeds from the harvest, proper land management, good fertilization using organic and inorganic fertilizers, pest control and irrigation channel management. (2) The ability of land to produce production by improving land quality through balanced fertilizer land management techniques and water needs for agricultural land. (3) Improving land quality through land management to improve physical, chemical and biological soil conditions and implementing crop rotation so that land quality does not decrease.
