Abstract

Abstract Roads are transportation infrastructure that have a very important influence on the social and economic deve-lopment of society. Therefore, roads must be maintained so that they do not get damaged quickly. Road damage can be caused by excessive traffic load, temperature, and poor road quality. Road pavement must be strong, durable, and resistant to plastic deformation. This research aims to determine the effect of adding water hya-cinth cellulose fiber on the performance of a type of asphalt mixtures, namely the Stone Matrix Asphalt, and to determine the optimum water hyacinth fiber content that can be added to the asphalt mixture. This study shows that a water hyacinth fiber content of 0.3% is the best water hyacinth fiber content that can be used in Stone Matrix Asphalt mixtures made with an Optimal Asphalt Content of 6.75%. Keywords: road pavement; water hyacinth cellulose fiber; asphalt mixtures; Stone Matrix Asphalt Abstrak Jalan merupakan suatu prasarana transportasi yang mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat penting dalam pem-bangunan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Karena itu, jalan harus dipelihara agar tidak cepat rusak. Kerusakan jalan dapat disebabkan oleh beban lalu lintas yang berlebihan, temperatur, dan kualitas jalan yang buruk. Perke-rasan jalan harus kuat, tahan lama, dan tahan terhadap deformasi plastis yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh penambahan serat selulosa eceng gondok terhadap kinerja campuran beraspal jenis Stone Matrix Asphalt dan menentukan nilai kadar optimum serat eceng gondok yang dapat ditambahkan pada cam-puran beraspal tersebut. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kadar serat eceng gondok 0,3% merupakan kadar serat eceng gondok terbaik yang dapat digunakan pada campuran Stone Matrix Asphalt yang dibuat dengan Kadar Aspal Optimum sebesar 6,75%. Abstract

Clausewitz‘s thought that the character of war is influenced by technology is still relevant to theStrategic Competition (Great Power Competition). The competition and the new character of war couldimpact Indonesia through the Sino-India and the Taiwan scenario both in peacetime and wartime. Anyattempt to use force against U.S. friends and allies would propel the US to use conventional militarypower and even a limited nuclear.1 Therefore it will impact the population and create two challengesfor Indonesia. The challenge predominantly comes from the sea. The first challenge is the spilloverof the competition both in peacetime and wartime. The spillover in peacetime is the claim by Chinaover Indonesia’s territory and EEZ in the South China Sea (SCS). While in wartime is the predictableflood of refugees due to the Sino-India scenario into Indonesian waters; and the expansion of conflictto Indonesia’s territory in the SCS due to the Taiwan scenario.. The second challenge is the risk ofcyber-based hybrid war. This essay argues,with the objective the spillovers are manageable and thecyberthreats are denied, hence, Indonesia should innovate by building up robust air power capable ofcontinual maritime operations, and reinforcing its National Cyber Strategy to protect national security.

Abstract

This research explores the influence of personality, entrepreneurial education, and family environment on students' entrepreneurial interest in Surabaya. This study uses quantitative methods with a survey involving students from various universities in Surabaya. Analysis was carried out using PLS (Partial Least Square) to see the relationship between the independent variables (personality, entrepreneurship education, and family environment) and the dependent variable (interest in entrepreneurship). The research results show that personality has a significant influence on interest in entrepreneurship. Apart from that, entrepreneurship education also has a positive effect on interest in entrepreneurship. The family environment also has an important role in increasing interest in entrepreneurship. Good family support significantly increases interest in entrepreneurship among Surabaya students.
