Abstract

This study aims to 1) explore the values of local wisdom Pancasila in the children's game "Bentengan" and 2) reflect on the traditional children's game "Bentengan" in the light of the philosophy that humans are Homo Ludens. The children's game "Bentengan" is one of the traditional games of East Java. Bentengan is played collectively between more than three children. Axiologically, this game has a positive character education value for children's growth and development. Due to the characteristics of this locality, “Bentengan” also contains the value of local wisdom. The methodology that I used is a philosophical-phenomenological research study with an in-depth literature study of the writings on “Bentengan”. The results are then analyzed by philosophical reflection in the light of the local wisdom of Pancasila and the thoughts of John Huizinga, Homo Ludens (Humans are creatures who play). This study found that 1) the traditional children's game "Bentengan" contains the values of local wisdom Pancasila which is positive for children's growth and development and the development of Pancasila profiles for students 2) this local game contains human anthropological characters as creatures who play, namely expressing human freedom, symbolization of human struggle, temporality-spatiality, following the rules, self-purposed game (pursuit of happiness).

Abstract

Abstract

This research focuses on exploring and reflecting the Christocratic values of Jesus' royal leadership obtained through theological reflection on the dialogue between Jesus and Pilate in John 18:28 – 19: 16. The dialogue between Jesus and Pilate is part of the story of Jesus' passion and resurrection. This one chapter of Jesus' life is very important to see the religious aspects of Jesus' leadership. Christocracy itself is a system of leadership or government based on Christ as the Head of the Church. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative methodology. This methodology is carried out with interpretive analysis and theological reflection on the text John 18: 28-19: 26. Text interpretation, critical analysis and theological reflection are also supported by an in-depth study of literature related to the topic of Christocracy, the meaning of the Kingdom of Christ and the dialogue between Jesus and Pilate. This research found that based on John 18: 28-19: 16 the character of Christ's kingly leadership or christocracy is centered on Christ himself, comes from divine religious values, aims at witnessing the truth, is willing to suffer for the truth and continues to listen to Jesus as the Lord, The Truth Itself.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the Catholic marriage as a covenant according to Canon Law in the light of Pope John Paul II's theology of the body. This paper is designed as a review article and focuses its attention on Canon 1055 §1-2 of Canon Law. The latter emphasizes the legal aspects of marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman that forms a lifelong partnership. This marriage is aimed at the welfare of husband and wife (bonum coniugum) and openness to the birth and education of children (bonum prolis). The sacramental meaning of marriage is interpreted within the framework of the theology of the body. The human body, theologically, is a means and sign of God's presence. The sacramental covenant dimension of the canon is analyzed in the light of Pope John Paul II's theology of the body. Christian marriage is a sacramental covenant, and the human body as the locus theologicus is a sign and means of God's presence.
