Abstract

Procedure For Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Examination Technique In Brain Tumor Cases At The Radiology Installation Of Pertamina Central Hospital Jakarta. MR spectroscopy is one way of describing metabolites in tumor tissue without being invasive. Single spectroscopic approach, which is used in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and is the most common spectral collection method in MRI modalities. MRi is the establishment of a medical diagnosis based on the principle of magnetic resonance. MRI aircraft produce images in various pieces namely coronal, sagittal, and transverse by not at all using x-rays that produce radiation and also using radioactive substances. Brain tumors are abnormally growing brain tissue cells originating from the brain or meningens, which are benign or malignant tumors that make massive pressure. MRS is a unique non-invasive sequence that helps in the identification of lesion molecules and the difference between malignant and benign lesions. In MRI examination of the brain with tumor cases there are several sequences used, namely Se / Fse Pd / T2, Se / Fse / incoherent spoiled, (DWI) diffusion weighted imaging (1) According to Elmaoglu (2), imaging techniques that can be used for MRI brain tumor cases include axial T1 spin echo, T2 fast recovery fast spin echo, T2 FLAIR, coronal T1 and T1 Axial post contrast injection, T1 coronal, and T1 sagittal, diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), magnetic resonance angiography, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. In taking SVS LESION localizer must be precise on tumor tissue not taking part that is not part of the tumor, analyze tumor area and take SVS NORMAL localizer on other healthy tissue.

Abstract

The Effect Of Use Of Lung Mask Fixation On The Accuracy Of Targeted Irradiation In Lung Cancer Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (Imrt) Technique In The Department Of Radiation Oncology, Jakarta General Hospital. Lung cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in one or both lungs. While normal cells in the lungs usually develop and reproduce to form healthy lung tissue, these abnormal cells actually reproduce more quickly and are never able to become normal lung tissue. As a result, lumps of cancer cells are formed, which are often referred to as tumors. (4) Radiotherapy is a form of therapy that has been proven to be useful in treating cancer. The aim of radiotherapy is to provide safe, accurate and efficient radiation doses to treat various types of cancer and also non-malignant disorders (7). Carrying out radiotherapy for lung cancer involves the use of immobilization devices, one of which is a thermoplastic mask. This mask functions to reduce the patient's body movements, including movements caused by breathing (9). Verification is a critical stage in the radiotherapy process. The purpose of this verification is to ensure that there are no significant differences in the exposure carried out (14). Giving the right dose of radiotherapy radiation is very necessary to achieve successful therapeutic treatment. The accuracy of dosing and the accuracy of the patient's position influence the dose distribution that will be received by the patient. This verification is based on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Human Health Series No. 31 of 2016 with a displacement value of 0.3cm (15). EPID (Electronic Portal Imaging Device) is an additional device connected to the LINAC (Linear Accelerator) radiotherapy device. EPID functions as a verification tool for radiation dose and geometry which is very important in the radiotherapy process (16). The accuracy of the patient's position during radiation treatment greatly influences the accuracy of the IMRT technique. Before irradiation, verification is carried out using an EPID (Electronic Portal Imaging Device) to ensure the correct target position on the tumor. This helps measure the x, y, and z axis coordinates along the radiation area before the radiation procedure begins.

Abstract

Use Of Fat Saturation (FS) Sequences In MRI Knee Joint Examination Of Osteosarcoma Cases At Installation Radiology Hospital In Jakarta. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one of the medical support modalities used by doctors to diagnose a disease. MRI is capable of producing high resolution images of soft tissue and is capable of displaying various cuts (sagittal, axial, coronal and oblique) using high-strength magnetic fields and nuclei resonances of hydrogen atoms. Fat saturation is used to detect or extract signals from adipose tissue. Three methods can be used to achieve leanness: lean saturation, investment mulihan, and leaning phase. Fat sat is an umbrella term that encompasses several techniques, each with its own unique advantages, disadvantages, and strengths. During the MR imaging process, proton lipids and hydrogen protons from the air have different behaviors, and fat suppression techniques. The knee joint is a hinge joint with changes and is formed by both femoral condyles that are jointed with the superior surface of the tibia condyles. The patella is located above the smooth pateller surface of the femur and above that the patella slides as the joint moves. Osteosarcoma is a relatively common middle to high grade malignant soft tissue tumor, often with an early course affecting young patients, and most often involving soft tissue.

Abstract

Cervical brachytherapy is a type of treatment for cervical cancer by providing direct radiation to the cancer or tumor area. The brachytherapy itself is usually a booster combined with external radiotherapy. Evaluation of the success of radiation can be seen from the survival rate of patients or local control. In patients, survival and local control can be influenced by several prognostic factors such as the stage of the cancer, the size of the cancer diameter, and the pathology of the cancer itself. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of brachytherapy radiation on the life survival of cervical cancer patients by paying attention to the relationship between cancer stage, cancer size, cancer pathology on patient survival. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach regarding the impact of brachytherapy radiation on patient life survival. cervical cancer. It was concluded that prognostic factors such as tumor or cancer size, cancer stage and cancer pathology in cervical cancer have a relationship with patient survival.

Abstract

Function Of Dixon Sequences In Wrist Joint Mri Examination In Dequervein Tenosynovitis Syndrome Cases. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is the primary modality in patients with symptoms associated with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis Syndrome which is a stenosing tenosynovitis condition that affects the extensor tendons of the carpometacarpal and metacarpal joints of the thumb. The Dixon technique has the advantage of being able to produce fat images and water images. The basic principle of the Dixon technique is that each voxel has its signal coded periodically at a fixed offset. The purpose of using the Dixon sequence is to: analyze fluid and tissue which can differentiate between the firmness of fluid and tissue including nerves and blood vessels. The Dixon can press fat so that the boundaries are firm, the presence of muscle and fat infiltration can be seen. This research is a qualitative study using a case study method using 3 patients who underwent MRI Wrist Joint examinations in cases of Dequervein Tenosynovitis Syndrome. Data was collected using observation, documentation and interviews with radiographers and radiologists. The results of the data that have been collected can be concluded from the MRI Wrist Joint examination in cases of Dequervein Tenosynovitis Syndrome which was carried out at one of the hospitals in Jakarta, using the Sequence T1_tse_tra, T2_tse dixon_fs_cor, T2_tse_dixon_fs_sag, T1_vibe_we_cor, Pd_tse_fs_tra_2.5mm. Because by using the Dixon sequence the results obtained are more detailed in evaluating pathological abnormalities.

Abstract

Management Of External Radiotherapy Irradiation In Vaginal Cancer Using Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) Technique At The Cancer Center Radiotherapy Santosa Hospital Bandung Kopo. Vaginal carcinoma constitutes approximately 2% of all malignant neoplasms that occur in the female genital tract. Vaginal carcinoma can arise from various types of cells within the vaginal wall and is often associated with risk factors such as exposure to certain carcinogens (8). Cancer is one of the main causes of death throughout the world. Based on GLOBOCAN data, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in 2018, deaths caused by cancer reached around 9.5 million people, with 60% of cancer deaths in Asia. (7) Radiotherapy is a cancer treatment approach that uses light. ionizer to damage tumor cells while maintaining the integrity of surrounding healthy tissue. The main focus is to eliminate as many cancer cells as possible while reducing the negative impact on normal tissue around the tumor area. (20) There are several treatments for patients suffering from vaginal cancer, namely surgery, radiation, brachytherapy, and external radiation based on the size and stage of the tumor suffered by the patient. (3) Based on the book "Target Volume Dileniation And Filed Setup" (a practical guide for conformal and Intensity-Modulated Radioation Therapy), Arno.J, (2013: 201), all vaginal cancer patients who undergo radiation using the IMRT technique must simulated in a supine position and the patient's legs straight with a thermoplastic immobilization mask and adjusted immobilization of the upper and lower body (16).
