Abstract

Transaction data in the printing industry provides valuable insights into concurrently favored products by customers within a specific timeframe. Java Printing Batujajar has recorded printing transactions over the past 2 years. However, the lack of data management has led to disorganized raw material inventory, resulting in many unprocessed transaction records. The collected data consists of 704 printing transaction records from 2021 to 2022. Consequently, a solution is needed to identify patterns within this transaction data. This research aims to employ the association method with FP-Growth algorithm using the RapidMiner software. The research findings reveal an association between two products: "Buku Yasin L 208hl" (Complete/using elbow and tassel ribbon, 208 pages) and "Buku Yasin L 224hl" (Complete/using elbow and tassel ribbon, 224 pages). Both products exhibit the highest support value, accounting for 11.5% of total transactions, indicating their frequent simultaneous purchases. Moreover, the confidence value for the association between these two products reaches 100%, implying that if a customer purchases "Buku Yasin L 208hl," they will certainly buy "Buku Yasin L 224hl" as well. The test results indicate that by adjusting experimental parameters, higher support and confidence values are achieved compared to using default parameters. This signifies that experimental testing is more effective in discovering product associations and providing valuable information for optimizing the arrangement and storage of related raw materials.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Puisi merupakan materi sastra yang ada di dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Karena puisi merupakan suatu karya sastra yang dilupakan secara sepontan dengan mempergunakan imajinasi sebagai pembantu akal pikiran, maka dalam penyajian puisi pada siswa hendaknya menggunakan suatu cara atau tehnik yang tepat agar siswa dapat berimajinasi seperti yang dilakukan oleh pengarang. Dengan daya imajinasi yang kuat terhadap puisi. Salah satu tehnik atau cara yang dapat meningkatkan daya imajinasi siswa terhadap puisi adalah degan menggunakan tehnik cloze (dilition) atau kelesapan, artinya menghilangkan atu melepaskan sebuah (atau lebih) kata pada larik /baris puisi. Dalam penelitian itu penulis merancang tiga siklus yang masing-masing siklus mengalami empat tahapan, yaitu : (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) Pengamatan, dan (4) Refleksi. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2023 (Semester II) di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Maleber Kabupaten Kuningan Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 serta berjumlah 20 siswa. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian penggunaan tehnik cloze (dilition) pada pembelajaran puisi dapatlah disimpulkan sebagai berikut : (1) Pembelajaran / penyajian puisi di kelas dengan menggunkan tehnik cloze dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Maleber Kabupaten Kuningan Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 selama proses pembelajaran, dan (2) Penggunaan tehnik cloze dalam pembelajaran puisi dapat meningkatkan prestasi siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Maleber Kabupaten Kuningan Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Kata kunci: kreativitas siswa; tehnik cloze (diliton) THE USE OF THE CLOZE TECHNIQUE (DILITON) IN POETRY LEARNING TO ENHANCE THE CREATIVITY OF 7TH GRADE STUDENTS AT SMPN 2 MALEBER, KUNINGAN DISTRICT ABSTRACT Poetry was a literary material present in the Indonesian language lessons in junior high school. Because poetry is a literary work forgotten spontaneously using imagination as an assistant to the mind, in presenting poetry to students, it should use a suitable method or technique so that students can imagine as done by the author. With a strong imagination towards poetry. One technique or method that can enhance students' imagination towards poetry is by using the cloze technique (dilution) or omission, meaning to eliminate or release one (or more) words in the lines/verses of poetry. In the research, the author designed three cycles, each of which went through four stages, namely: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. This research activity was carried out in January 2023 (Semester II) in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 2 Maleber, Kuningan Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023, and involved 20 students. Based on the research data, the use of the cloze technique (dilution) in poetry learning can be concluded as follows: (1) Teaching/presenting poetry in class using the cloze technique can increase the activity of students in Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Maleber, Kuningan Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023 during the learning process, and (2) The use of the cloze technique in poetry learning can improve the achievement of students in Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Maleber, Kuningan Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023.
