Abstract

Agriculture is one of the important sectors for economic development and food security all over the world. This study described and examined the sustainable agricultural techniques and practices in pineapple cultivation in the Municipality of Bataraza, Palawan. The study utilized descriptive correlational research which was participated by 30 pineapple farmers. Results of the study showed that Pineapple farmers efficiently utilized farming methods to increase the harvest and production of pineapple in Bataraza and gained profitable income that helped them to supplement the needs of their family. The production of pineapple depends largely on the farming methods and techniques they utilized.

Abstract

This research study described and examined the relationship of leadership styles and acquired technical knowledge on project im-plementation practices among division chiefs and department heads in the provincial government. The study utilized Mixed Method of Research. Further, there were 64 respondents partici-pated in the study. Results showed that majority of the respond-ents manifested democratic aspects of leadership. Also, there was a significant difference on the level of leadership styles of the re-spondents as to democratic aspects was noted when grouped ac-cording to dimensions, a significant difference on the level of lead-ership styles of the respondents. Findings further revealed that democratic aspects was positively correlated with Acquired Tech-nical Knowledge on Project Implementation in terms of Activities/ projects/programs implemented, Leadership Styles on Project Im-plementation Practices as to delegative aspect was positively cor-related with Acquired Technical Knowledge on Project Implemen-tation in terms of Activities/ projects/programs implemented. Hence, Leadership Styles on Project Implementation Practices as to delegative aspect was negatively correlated with Acquired Technical Knowledge on Project Implementation in terms of transparency aspect. It was also found out that overlapping work-loads and complex documentary preparations and submission of reports were the issues and problems encountered by the re-spondents. The study recommended the implementation of inter-vention program to enhance the Technical Knowledge on Project Implementation Practices.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is one of the most advanced technological tool which was developed to proceed convenient and fastest gen-eration of ideas and concepts. This study described and examined the use and effectiveness of artificial intelligence in the traditional teaching landscape in the study. It utilized descriptive correlation-al research design where researcher-made questionnaire was used as the main instrument of the study. It was participated by 500 public secondary teachers in the Philippines. Findings showed that Artificial Intelligence as perceived by teachers was useful and directly beneficial to facilitate effective and retentive instruction, effectively provides relevant and highly diversified instructional methods and strategies which teachers can use in order to cater the individual needs and interests of learners and provides enor-mous amount of assessment styles, procedures and methods that objectively assess learners’ academic performances. Also, AI is perceived by teachers to be an effective tool in providing effective learning acquisition process as AI provides accurate data which are timely and relevant, provides instructional styles and methods which are practical and highly engaging and institute authentic assessment s that reflect real-world activities thereby promoting effective transfer of learning. Apparently, as the effectiveness of AI in instruction increases, learners’ learning acquisition also in-creases. AI as digital platform help increase instructional compe-tence of teachers through provision of accurate and reliable infor-mation or data gathered which can be potentially used during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study described and examined Human Resource Management practices on inclusive employment for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) among selected Non-Government Organizations in the Philippines. There were 38 randomly selected Non-Government Organizations in the Philippines which participated in the study. Meanwhile, this study utilized descriptive correlational research. Survey-questionnaire and unstructured interviews were used as the main and secondary research tools of the study. Results revealed that Human Resource Management practices in the employment of Persons with Disabilities among selected Non-Government Organizations in the Philippines offered wide employment opportunities for PWDs. They were compensated equally based on the nature and accomplishments of their work. Hence, they were selected and recruited based on their potentials and skills while emphasizing the prevailing policies on inclusivity and equal work opportunities. Thus, NGOs provided efficient training and development programs towards professional development of PWDs as employees. Further, HR officer implemented policies and regulations that maintained and protected the health and safety status of the PWDs. In addition, productivity was seen as the most advantageous aspect of PWDs in the performance of their work while adjustment to workplace became the most disadvantageous aspect encountered by Human Resource Officers to their PWDs employees.
