Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) the process of developing Prezi-based animated video media in the Discovery Learning Model and (2) the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Prezi-based animated video media in the Discovery Learning Model. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D), which research procedures following the development of ADDIE. The results of the study show that the validity of Prezi-based animated video media in the Discovery Learning Modelon Oxidation Reduction Reaction material is declared valid and feasible to be used. The finding is based on the validation results by expert validators with a validation value of 3.40 or in valid category. Prezi-based animated video media concluded to be practical and effective because the practicality test of Prezi-based animated video media is related to (1) the implementation in the Discovery Learning Modelis at an average value of M = 1.98 in the category (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0) which means that the aspects and criteria observed are in fully implemented category, (2) the teacher’s response with a percentage of 87.50% with a very practical category and students’ responses with a percentage of 90.20% with a very practical category. Prezi-based animated video media also meets the effective criteria with the results of (1) an increase in students' learning interest from 55.11% to 74.14%, (2) the completeness or achievement of KKM who obtained a score above 75 is 20 people (86.95%) which overallis declared to meet the minimum subject completeness criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a numerical solution of the Susceptible-Exposed-Latent-Recovered (SELR) model with a delay time for diabetes cases among active students of FMIPA UNM. This SELR model is built based on certain assumptions, then an analysis is carried out to determine the stability of the model, and simulations are carried out to predict the incidence rate of diabetes. This study is an applied research, and the method used to obtain a numerical solution of the SELR model is the 4th Order Homotopy Perturbation Method, using secondary data. The results of this study include a numerical solution of the SELR model for diabetes cases with the Homotopy Perturbation Method, which shows that this model can predict the potential spread of diabetes among students.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan di Taman Kanak-Kanak di Kelurahan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk: a) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan penggunaan MS excel pada guru Taman Kanak-Kanak di Kelurahan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar; dan b) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan mitra dalam pembuatan raport siswa yang lebih menarik. Permasalahan mitra adalah: a) Kurang pengetahuan mendalam mengenai penggunaan excel bagi guru TK/PAUD kecamatan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar b) Rendahnya pengetahuan     penggunaan excel dalam pembuatan raport siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan, pendampingan, dan diskusi antara pelaksana dengan mitra. Metode ini dilaksanakan kepada kelompok mitra yang berjumlah 20 orang dan selanjutnya evaluasi dan monitoring dilakukan secara berkala selama 2 bulan.Kata Kunci: penggunaan MS excel, TK TamalanreaThe Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities were carried out in Kindergarten in Tamalanrea Village, Makassar City. The objectives of this activity are to: a) Improve knowledge and skills in using MS Excel for Kindergarten teachers in Tamalanrea Village, Makassar City; and b) increasing the knowledge and ability of partners in making student report cards more attractive. Partner problems are: a) Lack of in-depth knowledge about the use of excel for Kindergarten/PAUD teachers in Tamalanrea sub-district Makassar City b) Low knowledge of using excel in making student report cards. The methods used are training, mentoring, and discussions between implementers and partners. This method is carried out to a partner group of 20 people and then evaluation and monitoring is carried out periodically for 2 months.Keywords: use of MS excel, Kindergarten Tamalanrea
