Abstract

Instilling the values of Pancasila and the spirit of nationalism through civic education. Historically, education has played an important role in developing the value of nationalism in Indonesian society for everyone. Currently, education, especially civic education, has an efficient and important role and fully contributes to preserving, and enhancing the ideological values of the state and nationalism in the nation's next generation. multiculturalism education and educational conflict. Citizenship education must be understood as fully as possible in order to increase the efficiency of the next generation. This means teaching students to solve social problems critically and analytically and to apply the spirit of ideology and values of nationalism. Therefore, civic education is taught not only as an intermediary, but also as a reflective inquiry. To that end, Indonesia is starting to strengthen civic education, integrating direct and indirect approaches to values education and expecting students to internalize national ideology and nationalist values as beliefs. Furthermore, several principles of a strong teaching and learning process must also be communicated to Indonesian school residents.

Abstract

This article provides a brief overview of the development of philosophy of science in Indonesia, highlighting the unique and original contributions of Indonesian philosophers and scientists in expanding insights and understanding of science. By bridging the gap between Western philosophical traditions and local cultural contexts, they have enriched the theories and methodologies of the philosophy of science and made significant impacts on societal development and educational improvement in Indonesia. This research employs a descriptive literature-based research method with specific analysis and criteria. The results indicate the development of local epistemology, critical thinking towards Western knowledge, the development of local concepts, reflection on the social and environmental implications of science, dialogue between science and religion/culture, as well as critical studies of technology and innovation. In conclusion, this article emphasizes the importance of the complementary relationship between philosophy and science in the pursuit of deeper knowledge and wisdom, and in leading a responsible life.

Abstract

This research is a literature study aimed at providing an in-depth understanding of the traditional customs and culture of the Balinese people, an indigenous ethnic group from the island of Bali, Indonesia. The Balinese are known for their rich cultural diversity, which includes their belief systems, traditional ceremonies, ngaben (cremation ceremonies), and unique way of life. This literature study will collect and analyze various sources of literature, including books, journal articles, and official documents relevant to Balinese traditions and culture. The collected data will be analyzed to identify patterns, developments, and key aspects of Balinese culture, as well as how their culture has interacted with modernization and social change. The findings from this literature study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the cultural diversity of the Balinese people.
