Abstract

The five-point intersection on Keputih Street is one of the unsignaled intersections in the city of Surabaya with traffic problems. At certain times, especially rush hour, traffic problems will occur. At 07.00 WIB it was seen that several drivers were trying to cut through the traffic jam by squeezing in between other vehicles, this was done by road users to avoid long queues of vehicles. Queues can be approximately 1.2km long and the surrounding existing conditions are commercial or shopping areas, housing with several sides of the road used as a means for vehicles to stop or park as an additional congestion factor. Thus, there is a need for management planning and traffic engineering to improve the quality of intersections in serving road users. The method used for data analysis is based on existing data obtained directly from the field and processed according to PKJI 2023. The results obtained were that the degree of saturation at the intersection was much different before and after the traffic engineering planning was carried out. Projection results with the installation of traffic light signs and geometric widening of Keputih Tegal, the degree of saturation value obtained was 0.78 where previously DJ = 0.98 0.85. Abstract

The road is a facility for land transportation that serves regional development. The deterioration of road quality can pose constraints on economic and social activities and endanger road users. Small damages can escalate if not promptly addressed, leading to losses. This reasearch aims to determine the type and level of damage on Jelidro II – Kuwukan - Sambikerep Roads STA 0+000 to STA 1+600. There are two methods for obtaining road condition values in this research, the methods are Pavement Condition Index method and the Bina Marga method. On the section of Jelidro II – Kuwukan - Sambikerep Roads, 8 types of damage were found, those are crocodile skin cracks, grade depression, edge cracks, potholes, patches, longitudinal cracks, slip cracks, and ravelling. The results of calculating the road condition value using the PCI method is 63,6 where the road is included in the good category. Calculations using the Bina Marga method get a priority order of 9. The two methods show that the road has the same type of treatment, that is a routine maintenance program with repair methods that can be carried out, namely surface layers such as asphalt resurfacing and patching holes. Abstract

The commercial area on Manukan Lor street is one of the places in the city of Surabaya that currently has quite heavy traffic. The problem in this area is that there is no special pedestrian/pedestrian route available so it can endanger pedestrians, apart from that it can also disrupt the activity of traffic vehicles. The aim of this thesis refers to the formulation of the problem and the existing background, including: Determining the characteristics of pedestrians in the Manukan Lor Street area of Surabaya, determining the width requirements for pedestrian/pedestrian lanes in the Manukan Lor Street area, and to determine the performance results in Manukan Lor road section after and before the sidewalk. Guidelines used in planning pedestrian paths in the area "Sidewalk Planning Guidebook Number.007/T/BNKT/1990 Directorate General of Highways", "Guidebook for Building Construction Materials and Civil Engineering Ministry of PUPR Number.02/SE/M/2018 regarding technical planning of pedestrian facilities", and "Indonesian Road Capacity Guidebook 2023 (PKJI 2023)". The results of the analysis of the required width of the pedestrian path on the Manukan Lor road are 1.5 m wide with the level of service obtained is category A, and includes low-level side obstacles, with an average increase in the degree of saturation (Dj) of 0.026 but still in service level category C with a stable flow the speed can be controlled by traffic.  Keywords: Pedestrian Width; Characteristics; Road Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of road damage on Tlogowungu Road, Pati, within the section from Sta 0+000 to Sta 1+500. The study evaluates the road conditions and determines appropriate maintenance solutions using the Bina Marga 1990 method, which suggests that for segments 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, routine maintenance is required, while periodic maintenance applies to segments 4, 7, 8, and 15. The priority ranking obtained after calculating the Average Daily Traffic (LHR) places the road in traffic class number 4, with a total average LHR of 500–2000 vehicles/hour, resulting in a UP value of 8. The SDI method indicates that routine maintenance should be performed on segments 1, 2, 3, 8, and 13, while periodic maintenance is required on segments 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15. The results from the PKRMS software show that Tlogowungu Road has suffered significant damage, ranging from 50% to 100%. However, when rehabilitation is carried out, the road condition improves, with the percentage of the road in good condition increasing to up to 95%. Abstract

Surabaya, as one of the big cities in Indonesia, experiences significant challenges in transportation due to rapid growth of infrastructure and population. One of the government's efforts to overcome this problem is by launching Feeder Wirawiri Suroboyo, an integrated public transportation service that supports mass transportation modes in Surabaya. This study aims to analyze the characteristics and level of customer satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (Satisfaction) and Importance Performance Analysis (Importance) methods. The results of the analysis obtained the characteristics of the average passenger is male, aged <17 years and 18-28 years with a last education of high school or equivalent who are students with income <Rp. 2,000,000 who use Feeder Wirawiri Suroboyo Park and Ride route Mayjend Sungkono-City Hall with the purpose of traveling for School/College.The satisfaction level is 93.78%, which means it is included in the very satisfied category, while the suitability level is 95.68%, which is then calculated as the average score of the suitability level to be analyzed using the Cartesian Diagram.
