Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam perjalanannya pada tahun 1969, KORI mulai menghadapi berbagai masalah dan hambatan, seperti perginya para pemimpin yang kuliah di luar negeri (Enoch Atmadibrata ke Amerika dan Drs. Yus Rusyana kuliah di Belanda). Sejak saat itu, KORI tidak lagi mendapat bantuan dana dari Pemerintah kota Bandung, tidak mendapat ruang kuliah, dan diusir dari Gedung Merdeka melalui kekerasan angkatan bersenjata. Namun, komunikasi antara Enoch Atmadibrata dan Muchamad Tarya selalu intens untuk menyelesaikan masalah KORI. Tulisan ini mencoba menceritakan perjuangan Enoch dan Moch Tarya dalam menyelesaikan masalah KORI melalui komunikasi di antara mereka, meskipun mereka telah berpisah oleh jarak yang jauh, di mana Enoch berada di Amerika dan Tarya berada di Indonesia. Implikasi metode untuk mewujudkan tulisan ini adalah pendekatan analisis situasional yang mencermati komunikasi antara Enoch dan Tarya yang membicarakan masalah KORI. Hasilnya pada waktu itu adalah KORI marger dengan ASTI Yogyakarta dan sekarang KORI mampu bertahan dan berganti nama menjadi ISBI Bandung.Kata Kunci: ASTI Yogyakarta Jurusan Sunda, Enoch Atmadibrata, Muchamad Tarya, KORI.ABSTRACTTHE STRUGGLE OF ENOCH ATMADIBRATA AND MUCHAMAD TARYA FROM KORI TO ASTI YOGYAKARTA, SUNDA DEPARTMENT, June 2022. During the journey in 1969, KORI began to face various problems and obstacles, such as the getaway of leaders who studied abroad (Enoch Atmadibrata to America and Drs. Yus Rusyana studied in the Netherlands). Thenceforward, KORI has not received financial assistance again from the Bandung municipal government, did not get a room for college, and was expelled from Gedung Merdeka through armed forces violence. However, the communication between Enoch Atmadibrata and Muchamad Tarya has always been intense to resolve KORI's problems. This paper tried to tell the struggle of Enoch and Tarya in determining the KORI problem through communication between them, even though they have been separated by long distances, where Enoch is in America, and Tarya is in Indonesia.The method for realizing this paper is a situational analysis approach that examined the communication between Enoch and Tarya, who discussed the KORI problem. The result at that time was that KORI merged with ASTI Yogyakarta and KORI was able to survive and change its name to ISBI Bandung in the present.Keywords: ASTI Yogyakarta Jurusan Sunda, Enoch Atmadibrata, Muchamad Tarya, KORI.

Abstract

Basically, during the struggle for Indonesian independence, not only the politicians and the military were involved (1945-1949), but the entire Indonesian community, including the artists in Sundanese musicals. The purpose of writing this article aims to reveal the participation of Sundanese musicians during the Independence period. It was pretty significant considering the role of Sundanese music in the struggle for independence is still little shown in Indonesian history. The method used is the historical method which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The result was found in musical works that ignited the spirit of the struggle for independence, such as Halo-Halo Bandung, Mars Siliwangi, Karatagan Pahlawan, and Dikantun Tugas.

Abstract

Arts and culture education should be addressed in elementary school curricula, even though it has great potential in developing essential skills for students. This research explores the benefits of arts education for elementary school students at SD Melong Mandiri IV, Cimahi. This research involved three classes of samples using a quasi-experimental design. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and skills tests, which are analyzed using multivariate analysis. The research results show that arts education significantly develops students' creativity, imagination, and social, cognitive, and fine motor skills. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating arts education in the elementary school curriculum to support students' holistic development. The implications of this research indicate the need for inclusive education policies, comprehensive teacher training, and further research with more rigorous designs to strengthen empirical evidence regarding the benefits of arts education
