Abstract

Abstract This study compares the implementation of asymmetric decentralization in Indonesia and its effect on poverty alleviation. The method used in this study is a comparative case study (CCS), where the researchers compare two regions that implement an asymmetrical decentralization system: the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Papua, with different outcomes. From the data collected in the field, researchers found various challenges in implementing asymmetric decentralization, especially in poverty alleviation efforts. In the case of Papua, there are several challenges, including the effective allocation of budget and the strengthening of human resources. In contrast, in Yogyakarta, the focus of implementing legal asymmetry is enhancing culture and governance. Hence, poverty alleviation initiatives must also consider these central aspects. This research can contribute to developing development studies and public policies on poverty alleviation. The researcher provides an in-depth analysis of two exceptional cases applying asymmetrical decentralization in their activities. Abstract

The realization of public services that are fast, easy, and accessible from anywhere is a concern for the village government as the institution closest to the community. The aim of this community service is to provide skills for service providers in villages through training in the use of WhatsApp Business in Kertajati District. To achieve this goal, this service activity is carried out using the introduction and training method through the pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation stages. This activity was attended by 42 people who were representatives from 14 villages in Kertajati District including village officials, BPD representatives, neighborhood chairman and representatives of Kertajati District employees. The results of community service show that there has been an increase in the participants' understanding and skills through training on the use of WhatsApp Business in services to village communities in Kertajati District. This can be seen from measuring the average pre-test and post-test scores of the participants through surveys. In the future, there is a need to increase the capacity of village officials in a planned and sustainable manner in realizing the expected public services. Apart from also providing village facilities to optimize the implementation of services in the village.Perwujudan pelayanan publik yang cepat, mudah, dan dapat diakses dari manapun menjadi perhatian bagi pemerintah desa sebagai institusi yang paling dekat dengan masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan bagi penyelenggara pelayanan di desa melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan WhatsApp Business di Kecamatan Kertajati. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode pengenalan dan pelatihan melalui tahap pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pasca pelaksanaan. Kegiatan ini diikuti sebanyak 42 orang yang merupakan perwakilan dari 14 desa di Kecamatan Kertajati meliputi aparat desa, perwakilan BPD, kepala dusun dan perwakilan pegawai Kecamatan Kertajati. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan para peserta melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan WhatsApp Business dalam pelayanan kepada masyarakat desa di Kecamatan Kertajati. Hal ini terlihat dari pengukuran nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test para peserta melalui survei. Ke depan, perlu adanya peningkatan kapasitas bagi aparatur desa yang terencana dan berkelanjutan dalam mewujudkan pelayanan publik yang diharapkan. Selain juga penyediaan sarana dan fasilitas desa untuk mengoptimalkan penyelenggaraan pelayanan di desa.

Abstract

BPJS Kesehatan is a national health insurance program in Indonesia managed by the Social Security Administering Agency. The elimination of classes in BPJS Kesehatan is one of the major reform steps in the health insurance system in Indonesia. This study aims to see the perspective of the Policy of Equalizing Social Status of Society through the Elimination of Classes in BPJS Kesehatan. This study uses a normative legal approach method, namely a method that reviews and discusses research objects by emphasizing legal aspects. The data obtained in this study will be analyzed using qualitative analysis methods. Comprehensive and participatory policies will be more effective in achieving the goal of equality. Overall, the policy of eliminating classes in BPJS Kesehatan has the potential to advance the principles of social justice and equal access to health services

Abstract

E-commerce provides numerous benefits for merchants and consumers alike, thus necessitating the continued use of the internet for transactions. However, it is anticipated that transactions following this model will eventually be supplanted by traditional face-to-face exchanges between buyers and sellers. The research methodology employed in this work is a normative legal approach. An review of tax laws regarding e-commerce transactions in Indonesia reveals that the growth of the Internet in the business sector, particularly in trade, not only provides several advantages for both buyers and sellers. E-commerce refers to the commercial transactions involving the purchase and sale of products and services conducted through the internet. The exponential growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has given rise to tax issues with e-commerce transactions.
