Abstract

Babies are assets that are beneficial for economic growth and sustainable development of a country because they are the life expectancy of families and nations. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 28 of 2017 concerning Licensing and Implementation of Midwife Practice, it is stated that midwives have the authority. Monitoring the growth and development of babies, toddlers and preschool children includes weighing activities, head circumference measurements, height measurements, early detection stimulation and early intervention for developmental deviations in toddlers using the Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire (KPSP). Counseling and counseling includes providing communication, information, Journal of Digital Community Service (JUPED) | e-ISSN: 2828-3503 Volume 1, Number 3, August 2022 16 education (KIE) to mothers and families about newborn care, exclusive breastfeeding, danger signs in newborns, health services, immunizations, balanced nutrition, PHBS, and grow. Baby massage is a form of stimulation for a child's body and development. Through baby massage, comfortable and safe communication will occur between mother and baby.

Abstract

Providing proper nutrition in the first six months of a baby's life is by providing exclusively breast milk. Optimal breastfeeding can save the lives of more than 820,000 children under 5 years old every year. The coverage of babies receiving exclusive breastfeeding in 2020 was 66.06% and there was a decrease in 2021, namely 56.9%. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding collected in South Sumatra Province in 2020 was 51.6%, a decrease compared to 2019 (57.8%) and has not yet reached the program target. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between early initiation of breastfeeding, family support and maternal motivation simultaneously with the success of providing exclusive breastfeeding in the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center Work Area in 2024. Type and Design of this research is quantitative using an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all mothers who had babies aged 7-12 months at the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center in 2024, totaling 304 people. The sample used was 75 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used an accidental sampling technique. The results of univariate analysis obtained from 75 respondents, there were 48 respondents (64.0%) who provided exclusive breastfeeding and 27 respondents (36.0%) who did not. The results of the chi-square statistical test on the early breastfeeding initiation variable obtained ρ value = 0.022, the family support variable ρ value = 0.019 and the motivation variable obtained ρ value = 0.006 which is smaller than α=0.05 indicating there is a relationship between early breastfeeding initiation and family support and motivation. by providing exclusive breastfeeding in the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center working area in 2024. It is hoped that suggestions for the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center can be used as a source of information for the community health center in an effort to increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding and to find out what factors can influence mothers in providing exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Immunization is giving the body immunity against a disease by inserting weakened disease germs into the body so that the body is resistant to diseases that are endemic or dangerous for a person. According to WHO in 2019, the majority of children currently receive life-saving vaccines, during 2017 it was estimated that 116.3 million or around 86% of children, children who did not receive complete immunization had an impact on child deaths in the world in 2019 of 2.5 million cases. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge, family support and maternal trust in vaccines simultaneously with the completeness of basic immunization in the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center working area in 2024. Type and design of the research is quantitative using analytical survey methods with a cross-sectional approach. sectional. The population in this study were all mothers with babies aged 9-18 months who visited the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center, totaling 637 respondents. The sample used was 84 respondents. The sampling technique in this research used accidental sampling technique. The results of the univariate analysis were obtained from 84 respondents, there were 60 respondents (71.4%) in the category of providing complete immunization and in the category of providing incomplete immunization totaling 24 respondents (28.6%). The results of the chi-square statistical test showed that the knowledge variable was ρ value = 0.002, the family support variable was ρ value = 0.021 and the mother's trust variable in vaccines was ρ value = 0.040, which was smaller than α=0.05, indicating that there was a significant relationship between knowledge, family support and trust. mothers on vaccines with complete basic immunization in the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center working area in 2024. Suggestions for the Burnai Mulya Community Health Center can provide information or consideration for policy makers to develop a solution to the problem of providing complete basic immunization to babies aged 9-18 months and provide information regarding Factors associated with providing complete basic immunization to babies aged 9-18 months
