Abstract

The community has long realized the role of pesantren because it can produce credible cadres, who not only have potential but can utilize their potential for competence. In this global era, science, culture and the role of pesantren must be more prominent. Pesantren has a reputation as a distinctive Islamic religious institution, especially as an educational institution. Pesantren is also a social institution based on religious values. Currently, one of the problems faced by Islamic boarding schools is the issue of effective and efficient development management. This problem must be overcome by pesantren to improve the quality of education. Therefore, there needs to be good management and development carried out by experienced and knowledgeable Islamic boarding school leaders. The pesantren curriculum is also the most important entity for academic success. Even though we know that pesantren do not have an official curriculum from the government, because it is the policy of every pesantren leader. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a curriculum that is applied to adjust to the times. Based on the results of research that has been carried out the method used is a qualitative method with the type of case study (Case Study). In this study, researchers explained in detail the results of research on the Management and development of Islamic Boarding Schools. The purpose of this study is to analyze the management and development of Islamic boarding schools. It is known that management and development is a very important strategy for Islamic boarding schools, namely as the most important facility for institutions to improve and optimize human resources and curriculum development to achieve the expected goals. Keywords: Management, Development of Islamic Boarding Schools

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to explain in detail the dimensions and indicators of teacher performance and to analyze how teacher performance indicators impact the quality of education in Madrasah. This study uses qualitative methods, which results in conclusions that teacher performance includes work results, progress, and teacher efficiency in all aspects of education delivery, including planning and implementing teaching and learning processes, assessment of learning outcomes, student guidance, and fulfillment of teacher duties. The achievement of a teacher is determined not only by academic qualifications but also by applying the necessary competencies. Improving the quality of education is a national strategic issue that is also the focus of studies in education quality management. Teacher achievement determines the madrasah's efficiency in achieving the set educational standards. The professionalism and personality of teachers have a significant influence in improving the achievement of madrasah quality standards. Research findings confirm that good teacher performance and adequate academic qualifications affect the overall quality of education. Therefore, the positive impact of teacher performance and educational qualifications is an important variable in improving education quality. Keywords: Assessment Management, Teacher Performance, Academic Quality. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan secara detail dimensi dan indikator kinerja guru serta untuk menganalisis bagaimana indikator kinerja guru berdampak pada mutu pendidikan di madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yang menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa kinerja guru mencakup hasil kerja, kemajuan, dan efisiensi guru dalam semua aspek penyelenggaraan pendidikan, termasuk perencanaan dan pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar, penilaian hasil belajar, bimbingan peserta didik, serta pemenuhan tugas-tugas guru. Prestasi seorang guru tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kualifikasi akademik, tetapi juga oleh penerapan kompetensi yang diperlukan. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan merupakan isu strategis nasional yang juga menjadi fokus kajian dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan. Prestasi guru menjadi salah satu faktor yang menentukan efisiensi madrasah dalam mencapai standar pendidikan yang ditetapkan. Profesionalisme dan kepribadian guru memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pencapaian standar mutu madrasah. Temuan penelitian menegaskan bahwa kinerja guru yang baik dan kualifikasi akademik yang memadai berpengaruh pada kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, dampak positif dari kinerja guru dan kualifikasi akademik merupakan variabel penting dalam usaha meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Optimalisasi Penilaian, Kinerja Guru, Kualitas Pembelajaran

Abstract

Abstract: Total Quality Management (TQM) is a management concept of educational institutions oriented towards improving quality through a continuous improvement process, focusing on customer satisfaction, and full involvement of all elements of the organization. Implementing TQM in the context of education involves harmonious collaboration between various internal components, such as principals, teachers, and staff, as well as the support of external parties, including school committees. This collaboration aims to provide optimal service to students as the main customer. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of TQM carried out by school principals, teachers, and school committees to achieve student satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that SMAN 1 Rogojampi adopts TQM by integrating the visionary leadership of the principal, the active contribution of teachers, and the strategic support of the school committee. The implementation of TQM at SMAN 1 Rogojampi is guided by the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard, which is a reference to achieve customer satisfaction effectively and sustainably.Keywords: Total Quality Management (TQM), the principal teacher's School Committee, student satisfaction.Abstrak Total Quality Management (TQM) adalah sebuah konsep pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan yang berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas melalui proses perbaikan berkesinambungan, fokus terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, dan keterlibatan penuh seluruh elemen organisasi. Implementasi TQM dalam konteks pendidikan melibatkan kolaborasi harmonis antara berbagai komponen internal, seperti kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf, serta dukungan pihak eksternal, termasuk komite sekolah. Kerja sama ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang optimal kepada siswa sebagai pelanggan utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan TQM yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, guru, dan komite sekolah dalam upaya mencapai kepuasan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMAN 1 Rogojampi mengadopsi TQM dengan mengintegrasikan kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah, kontribusi aktif dari guru, serta dukungan strategis dari komite sekolah.
