Abstract

The Hajj pilgrimage is the fifth pillar of Islam that is dreamed of by every Muslim throughout the world. In Indonesia, enthusiasm for performing the Hajj is very high, but it is accompanied by a long waiting list that can last for decades. This causes various problems and injustices for Hajj pilgrims. This policy paper aims to examine the problem of Hajj waiting lists in Indonesia and offer solutions for optimizing the registration system and managing waiting lists more efficiently and fairly. This study uses qualitative methods with literature studies, statistical data analysis, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The result is that various factors cause long hajj waiting lists, such as limited hajj quotas from the Saudi Arabian government, a registration system that is not yet optimal, and a lack of transparency in managing the waiting list. Therefore, this policy paper offers several solutions for optimizing the registration system and waiting list management, including (1) Increasing the Hajj quota from the Saudi Arabian government through diplomacy and negotiation; (2) Implementation of an integrated and transparent online Hajj registration system; (3) Implementation of a fair and accountable priority system for Hajj pilgrims; and (4) Increasing education and information for Hajj pilgrims regarding waiting lists. The conclusion is that optimizing the registration system and management of the Hajj waiting list through the solutions proposed in this policy paper is expected to create a more efficient and fair Hajj pilgrimage for all Muslims in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan merupakan mata pelajaran yang memfokuskan pada pembentukan warganegara yang memahami dan mampu melaksanakan hak-hak dan kewajibannya untuk menjadi warga Negara yang baik, yang cerdas, terampil, dan berkarakter yang diamanatkan oleh Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Strategi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan peciptaan suasana yang menyenangkan sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PKn. Subjek Penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Pesisir Selatan, dengan jumlah siswa 37 orang, yang terdiri dari 3 orang laki-laki dan 34 orang perempuan. Tujuan Penelititan Tindakan Kelas ini adalah Meningkatkan Kemampuan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Materi Perumusan Pancasila Sebagai Dasar Negara Pada Mata Pelajaran PKN Melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning)  Pada Siswa Kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Pesisir Selatan. Rerata perolehan skor pada siklus pertama 52,75 % menjadi 69,44 %, mengalami kenaikan 16,69 %. Begitupun dalam indikator motivasi dan kegairahan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran pada siklus pertama rata-rata 63,82 % dan pada siklus kedus 83,35 % mengalami kenaikan 19,53 %. Dalam indikator interaksi siswa selama mengikuti diskusi kelompok pada siklus pertama 72,25 % dan pada siklus kedua 88,32 % mengalami kenaikan sebesar 16,07 %. Dalam indikator hubungan siswa dengan guru selama kegiatan pembelajaran, pada siklus pertama 75 % dan pada siklus kedua 91,66 % mengalami kenaikan sebesar 16,66 %. Dalam indikator hubungan siswa dengan siswa, pada siklus pertama 77,65 % sedangkan pada siklus kedua 86,11 % mengalami kenaikan sebesar 8,46 %. Dalam indikator partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaraan terlihata pada siklkus pertama 80,55 %, sedangkan pada silklus kedua 94,45 % mengalam kenaikan sebesar 13,9 %. Melalui model Problem Based Learning ini terlihat hubungan siswa dengan guru sangat signifikan karena guru tidak dianggap sosok yang menakutkan tetapi sebagai fasilitator dan mitra untuk berbagi pengalaman sesuai dengan konsep creatif learning yaitu melalui discovery dan invention serta creativity and diversity sangat menunjol dalam model pembelajaran ini.

Abstract

In the learning process there are many learning methods that can be used by teachers, but not all learning models are suitable for all teaching materials. For this reason, teachers are required to be able to choose a learning model that is relevant to the learning material, one of the learning methods that can be used by teachers in the learning process is the Index Card Match method. The expected objectives of this study are to determine the activities of students and teachers and to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class II students of Anoe Puteh Elementary School in Islamic Religious Education learning on the material of emulating the noble qualities of Asmaul Husna. This research was conducted using a Classroom Action Research approach, the subjects in this study were class II students of Leukuen Elementary School in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use observation and test techniques. For data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of cycle 1 learning activities show that the level of student learning completion is only 63.16% with an average class score of 71.05%, student activity is only 60% and teacher activity is 61.36%. The results show that not all students have scored above the KKM. Therefore, the classroom action research was continued in cycle 2. The level of student learning completion in cycle 2 increased to 84.21%, as well as student activity increased to 85% and teacher activity 86.36% with an average class score of 80. Thus, learning using the Index Card Match method in learning the material of emulating the noble nature of Asmaul Hunsa can be said to be successful. And the author assumes that this research does not need to be continued to cycle 3, because the learning outcomes of cycle 2 have met the Minimum Completion Criteria target that has been set previously.
