Abstract

Coolant in automotive engine cooling systems generally uses coolant with a minimum ethylene2 glycol mixture of 30 percent. Currently, the use of nanoparticles can be mixed in basic coolant between fluid and nanoparticles that have better thermal physical properties than pure coolant. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of CFD to tests on the effect of concentration, discharge and inlet temperature of Hybrid Nanofluid Al2O3 TiO2 to temperature distribution, pressure and radiator performance. The method used in this research is CFD simulation. The data taken in this study is the rate of heat transfer in the cooling fluid of pure radiator coolant and radiator coolant plus Al2O3 TiO2 hybrid nanoparticles (hybrid nanofluid radiator coolant) with a mass percentage of nanoparticle hybrid mixture of 0.25, 0.30, 0.35 percent. Variations in the amount of fluid flow with a liter/ minute discharge (LPM) of 20, 24 ,28, and using variations in the amount of radiator fluid inlet temperature (Tin), namely 70, 80, 90 Celsius which will be simulated by ANSYS FLUENT software.

Abstract

Selection of the right product in the Islamic financial institution industry can support the achievement of profit targets. One product that has a lot of interest is pawn gold, which is technically quite simple. This article aims to determine the procedure and mechanism for financing pawn gold in Islamic financial institutions and explain the profit setting system for pawning gold financing that can increase profitability. The results of this study indicate that the procedure, mechanism, and profit determination system for sharia pawn products (rahn) are very easy to understand and easy to implement. In fact, it is also easily understood by customers, so that in preference it becomes the main choice for the community. The implication is that this product can be used as a mainstay for Islamic financial institutions to increase profitability. So it is hoped that this product can be developed and disseminated massively to the public.

Abstract

Karakter merupakan suatu hal paling mendasar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari oleh karenanya, penting bagi setiap peserta didik untuk dibiasakan dengan hal-hal positif. Adanya budaya atau kebiasaan dapat dengan sangat mudah mempengaruhi terciptanya karakter anak didik entah itu karakter positif maupun nagatif. Pendidikan berperan sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dimana adanya kegiatan yang dilakukan dapat membantu peserta didik untuk membiasakan diri atau mempraktikkan segala ilmu yang didapatkan di sekolah. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tentang pengaruh budaya sekolah dalam membangun karakter siswa. Pendidikan pertama tentunya didapatkan dari keluarga oleh karena itu, orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam membangun karakter anak didik melalui hal paling sederhana yaitu dengan menciptakan budaya atau kebiasaan yang positif sehingga anak didik mampu menangkap hak-hal yang positif melalui keluarga. Kemudian, setelah keluarga tempat berikutnya yaitu sekolah dimana budaya sekolah adalah nilai-nilai dominan yang didukung oleh sekolah atau falsafah yang menuntun kebijakan sekolah terhadap semua unsur dan komponen sekolah termasuk stakeholder pendidikan, seperti cara melaksanakan pekerjaan di sekolah serta asumsi atau kepercayaan dasar yang dianut oleh personil sekolah. Oleh karena itu, adanya pendidikan dan budaya baik di keluarga maupun di sekolah menjadi suatu hal yang sangat penting dan paling mendasar dalam membangun karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

This study focused on the utilization of active carbon derived from coconut shells as an adsorbent to reduce exhaust gas emissions in motorcycles. The research aimed to compare the exhaust emissions before and after installing active carbon in the muffler and to analyze its effect on the levels of CO, HC, and CO2 at different engine speeds. A laboratory experiment was conducted with varying masses of active carbon, and emission data were collected and analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results demonstrated that with the use of 200 grams of active carbon, the CO emission decreased by 12.06%, HC by 16.96%, and CO2 by 9.17%. These reductions are attributed to the strong adsorptive properties of active carbon, which facilitated the physical and chemical separation of harmful gases. The study concluded that active carbon significantly reduces exhaust emissions, providing a practical solution for improving air quality in motorcycles. The findings offer an effective method for emission control that could be applied under various operating conditions, making it suitable for widespread implementation in emission-reduction systems for small engines.
