Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlakuan khusus terhadap narapidana lanjut usia di Lapas Kelas IIA Jambi sebagai upaya memenuhi kesejahteraan kelompok rentan tersebut. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi perlakuan khusus di Lapas Kelas IIA Jambi mencakup pendekatan medis dan kesehatan, penyediaan fasilitas yang sesuai, pelayanan psikososial, pengembangan program rehabilitasi, dan kolaborasi dengan pihak eksternal. Langkah-langkah ini adalah langkah awal yang penting dalam memastikan bahwa narapidana lansia mendapatkan perlakuan yang pantas dan kesejahteraan yang memadai. Meskipun ada upaya yang dilakukan, masih ada sejumlah tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Kurangnya sumber daya, pelatihan petugas pemasyarakatan yang kurang memadai, koordinasi antarinstansi yang belum optimal, stigma, dan perubahan kebijakan hukum adalah beberapa dari tantangan tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the personal hygiene behavior of female inmates' genitalia at Class IIB Pacitan Prison and identify the factors influencing it. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study found that although prisoners generally exhibit good hygiene behavior, there are still some obstacles that need to be addressed. Limited facilities, lack of female medical personnel, and minimal socialization regarding reproductive health are the main hindering factors. These findings indicate the importance of comprehensive efforts to improve the quality of reproductive health services in correctional facilities to meet the basic rights of female inmates.
