Abstract

Smart farming merupakan pendekatan pertanian modern yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan hasil produksi pertanian. Smart farming 4.0 yang berbasis kecerdasan buatan akan mendorong dan meningkatkan penghasilan petani pakcoy gandasuli rw 14 gumilir. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan metode smart farming pada budidaya pakcoy (Brassica rapa), khususnya pada komunitas dampingan PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Pabrik Cilacap yaitu kelompok pertanian Gandasuli Gumilir. Dalam penelitian ini kami menganalisis berbagai aspek budidaya pakcoy mulai dari pemilihan benih, penanaman, perawatan, hingga panen, serta bagaimana teknologi smart farming dapat diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan setiap tahapan tersebut. Petani dapat bercocok tanam tanpa bergantung pada musim melainkan melalui mekanisasi. Proses penanaman hingga pemanenan dapat dilakukan secara akurat mulai dari tenaga kerja, waktu tanam hingga proses pemanenan. Beberapa teknologi smart farming seperti blockchain yang dapat memfasilitasi ketertelusuran rantai pasok produk pertanian untuk pertanian off farm modern, agri drone sprayer (drone penyemprotan pestisida dan pupuk cair), drone surveilans (drone untuk pemetaan lahan), sensor tanah dan cuaca, sistem irigasi cerdas (irigasi pintar), Ruang Pertanian. Beragamnya tingkat pendidikan petani, umur petani dan minat masyarakat terhadap pertanian, serta mahalnya peralatan teknologi smart farming menjadi kendala terbesar bagi petani dalam menerapkan smart farming. Kementerian pertanian telah melaksanakan pilot project penerapan smart farming di beberapa lokasi di Indonesia. Kementerian Pertanian juga perlu mengambil peran dengan membuat roadmap smart farming. Proyek Strategis Pemerintah pada tahun 2020 hingga 2024 melalui food estate yang dibangun bersama korporasi petani dapat mendukung penerapan smart farming secara masif.

Abstract

The compost school (skula kompos) is a product of community empowerment activities that focuses on developing education on household-based organic waste management. This program is one of a series of innovations in the Baruwani Program (Bala Runtah Watu Geni) which was initiated in 2019 by PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk, Cilacap factory. The baruwani program itself focuses on waste sorting and processing activities in the community where the output produced not only reduces waste generation, but produces other innovations, especially to support the successful use of waste as an alternative fuel to replace coal in the cement production process. The benefit of making this compost is to help people optimize the use of household waste so that it can have high use value and be useful as compost fertilizer which in the next stage can be used to support urban farming activities. Making compost and being able to reduce dependence on the use of inorganic fertilizers which contain many compounds that are less environmentally friendly, has the potential to become a social business that has an economic impact. Skula kompos is a forum for outreach and training which is attended by baruwani's assisted communities and other parties who are interested in making compost using the unique method of Skula kompos BSM Subur.

Abstract

PT. Solusi Bangun Indonesia (SBI) Tbk Cilacap Factory is a cement company in Cilacap that has a high commitment and awareness of resource efficiency and the use of renewable energy. One of the important things that can support resource efficiency programs is the management of non-hazardous (non-B3) solid waste. If managed properly, non-B3 solid waste can produce a circular economy that is beneficial for the company and the community. PT SBI Cilacap Factory is making efforts to develop a Circular Economy with an LCA approach to cement bags produced both as reject products and circulating to end users through community empowerment activities. This study aims to evaluate the comprehensive environmental impact of the reduce, reuse, recycle, and recover cement bag program conducted by PT SBI Cilacap Factory together with the community. The system based on the purpose of this study cannot use a cradle-to-grave. Data processing in this study for environmental impact evaluation used the LCA SimaPro-9.4.0.2 software. The impact assessment method uses the ReCiPe 2016 midpoint method. Based on the contribution analysis, it was found that the cement paper collected for recycling in a centralized recycling facility will make a greater contribution to the environmental impacts of terrestrial ecotoxicity, land use, global warming, human non-carcinogenic toxicity, and human carcinogenic toxicity.

Abstract

Indonesia faces dual challenges in the form of high dependence on coal and increased volumes of leaf and ranting organic waste. This study studied the development of biomass pellets from leaf litter and ranting as renewable energy (EBT) initiated by PT Building Solutions Indonesia (SBI) Cilacap together with Cilacap State Polytechnic. Analysis includes technical concepts, environmental impacts through a life cycle approach, as well as implementation potentials and challenges. Results show the use of biomass pellets can decrease net greenhouse gas and methane gas emissions from leaf burning and ranting by the community, as well as supporting the circular economy model. The main challenges include production energy consumption and particulate emission control. The concept is technically and ecologically feasible with optimization and policy support as a prerequisite for commercialization.
