Abstract

Abstract This study focused on observations of the activities beumo (shifting cultivation) on the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. Beumo (shifting cultivation) in question is still traditional, either a tool or process. The researchers focused on the study of the semantics of the research problem in the form of description, components of meaning and cultural meaning terminology beumo (shifting cultivation). This study aimed to describe the term, components of meaning and cultural meaning contained in beumo (shifting cultivation) terminology Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. Based on the research conducted, the researchers managed to collect 124 terms as research data. Overall the data consists of seven classification terms, namely 31 terms in the form of a classification tool, 41 terms in the form of the classification process, 14 terms in the form of the classification name of the place, 10 terms in the form of classification of rice growth, 14 terms in the form of classification of soil type, 9 terms in the form of classification results, and 5 terms in the form of classification marks. Abstract

The study focused on the misspelling of Indonesian in the essay of a student of the accounting course, the department of economics and business, Widya Dharma Pontianak University. The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis. The data in this study would be spelling mistakes, whereas the data source would be by a two-semester student group that attended an Indonesian course. As for the results, there are 10 misspelling spelling capitals, 3 misspelling spelling, 5 misspelling of root, 9 miswriting of root words, 2 miswriting syllables, 4 syllables, 1 writership errors, 5 writes point marks, 1 writes errors of comma, 1 writes hyphen, and 1 omission of writing hyphen. Based on the study, it is expected that the professor emphasized the EYD technique in Indonesian college and always trained the students to spell it correctly so that the student's writing could fit the writing code. In addition, students are expected to have an Indonesian love soul so that they can write well from different study programs.

Abstract

This research focuses on the form of affixation of the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data in this research is in the form of affixations of the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language. Based on the results of research conducted, there are four forms of affixes in the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language, consisting of prefixes, infixes, suffixes and confixes. From the data found, there were 24 affixes consisting of 13 prefixes, 2 infixes, 5 suffixes and 4 suffixes. The Ketungau Sesat Dayak language prefixes (BDKS) consist of bǝ-, tǝ-, lǝ-, ngǝ-, di-, mǝ-, ng-, ny-, kǝ, pǝ-, pǝm-, pǝngǝ-, and pǝny-. The Dayak Ketungau Sesat (BDKS) language infix consists of -em- and –el-. The Ketungau Sesat Dayak language suffixes (BDKS) consist of –ne, -mǝ, -tek, -ah, and -nah. Meanwhile, the Dayak Ketungau Sesat language confix (BDKS) consists of pǝ-ne, kǝ-an, sǝ-ne, and kǝ-ne.

Abstract

This research focuses on the terminology in fishing in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. The fishing tradition in question is still traditional in terms of both tools and processes. The method used in this study is descriptive. The data in this study are in the form of terminology contained in the fishing tradition in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. Based on the results of the research conducted, the researcher managed to collect 49 terms consisting of 5 classifications. The data are based on the classification of tools as many as 13, based on the classification of tool part names as many as 4, based on the classification of materials as many as 11, based on the classification of processes as many as 13, and based on the name of the place as many as 8 terms.

Abstract

This research focuses on the language that is suitable for planting rice in the rice fields of the Ketungau Sesat Dayak community. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data in this research is in the form of vocabulary suitable for planting rice in rice fields in the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language. Based on the results of the research conducted, the researchers succeeded in collecting 84 vocabularies consisting of 7 classifications. The data is based on 24 equipment or equipment classifications, 28 based on process classifications, 1 based on place name classifications, 13 based on rice growth classifications, 6 based on soil type classifications, based on the classification of results as many as 9, and based on the classification of signs as many as 3 vocabularies.

Abstract

This research focuses on the terminology in mutong (traditional rubber tapping activity) in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. The mutong activity in question is still carried out traditionally both in terms of tools and processes carried out. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data in this study are terms found in mutong activities in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. In this study, researchers focus on describing and culturally interpreting the terms in mutong activities (rubber tapping) traditionally by the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. Based on the results of the research conducted, researchers managed to collect 51 terms consisting of 7 classifications. The data are based on tool classification as many as 10, based on part name classification as many as 3, based on process classification as many as 16, based on method classification as many as 4, based on properties as many as 11, based on place names as many as 4, and based on results as many as 3 terms. The researcher also succeeded in describing the cultural meaning of terminology in mutong activities in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community, which amounted to 51 terms based on tool classification, part names, processes, methods, characteristics, place names, and based on results

Abstract

This study focuses on greetings in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat language. The greetings in question are based on blood relations and marriage relations. The method used in this study is descriptive. The data in this study are greetings in the BDKS obtained from informants. The data were collected using note-taking and recording techniques. Based on the results of the study, the researchers managed to collect 20 greetings based on blood relations and 11 greetings based on marriage relations.
