Abstract

This research focuses on the form of affixation of the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data in this research is in the form of affixations of the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language. Based on the results of research conducted, there are four forms of affixes in the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language, consisting of prefixes, infixes, suffixes and confixes. From the data found, there were 24 affixes consisting of 13 prefixes, 2 infixes, 5 suffixes and 4 suffixes. The Ketungau Sesat Dayak language prefixes (BDKS) consist of bǝ-, tǝ-, lǝ-, ngǝ-, di-, mǝ-, ng-, ny-, kǝ, pǝ-, pǝm-, pǝngǝ-, and pǝny-. The Dayak Ketungau Sesat (BDKS) language infix consists of -em- and –el-. The Ketungau Sesat Dayak language suffixes (BDKS) consist of –ne, -mǝ, -tek, -ah, and -nah. Meanwhile, the Dayak Ketungau Sesat language confix (BDKS) consists of pǝ-ne, kǝ-an, sǝ-ne, and kǝ-ne.

Abstract

This research focuses on the terminology in fishing in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. The fishing tradition in question is still traditional in terms of both tools and processes. The method used in this study is descriptive. The data in this study are in the form of terminology contained in the fishing tradition in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. Based on the results of the research conducted, the researcher managed to collect 49 terms consisting of 5 classifications. The data are based on the classification of tools as many as 13, based on the classification of tool part names as many as 4, based on the classification of materials as many as 11, based on the classification of processes as many as 13, and based on the name of the place as many as 8 terms.

Abstract

This research focuses on the language that is suitable for planting rice in the rice fields of the Ketungau Sesat Dayak community. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data in this research is in the form of vocabulary suitable for planting rice in rice fields in the Ketungau Sesat Dayak language. Based on the results of the research conducted, the researchers succeeded in collecting 84 vocabularies consisting of 7 classifications. The data is based on 24 equipment or equipment classifications, 28 based on process classifications, 1 based on place name classifications, 13 based on rice growth classifications, 6 based on soil type classifications, based on the classification of results as many as 9, and based on the classification of signs as many as 3 vocabularies.

Abstract

This research focuses on the terminology in mutong (traditional rubber tapping activity) in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. The mutong activity in question is still carried out traditionally both in terms of tools and processes carried out. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data in this study are terms found in mutong activities in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. In this study, researchers focus on describing and culturally interpreting the terms in mutong activities (rubber tapping) traditionally by the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community. Based on the results of the research conducted, researchers managed to collect 51 terms consisting of 7 classifications. The data are based on tool classification as many as 10, based on part name classification as many as 3, based on process classification as many as 16, based on method classification as many as 4, based on properties as many as 11, based on place names as many as 4, and based on results as many as 3 terms. The researcher also succeeded in describing the cultural meaning of terminology in mutong activities in the Dayak Ketungau Sesat community, which amounted to 51 terms based on tool classification, part names, processes, methods, characteristics, place names, and based on results
