Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kinematika bidang diskontinuitas pada batuan volkanik untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik gerakan massa serta mengidentifikasi arah dan tipe longsoran di daerah Seloharjo dan sekitarnya, kecamatan Pundong, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Pengambilan data diskontinuitas berupa kekar (joint set) dengan metode scanline (tahap lapangan). Tahap selanjutnya dilakukan analisis metode kinematika menggunakan proyeksi stereografis dengan bantuan software Dips 6.0 dan klasifikasi sistem Rock Mass Rating (RMR). RMR digunakan untuk menentukan pembobotan dari suatu massa batuan dengan mengevaluasi ketahanan massa batuan. Lokasi penelitian mencakup 2 titik lokasi pengamatan (LP), yaitu pada koordinat 7° 59’ 19.3” LS dan 110° 19’ 19.0” BT (LP 1) dan pada koordinat 7° 59’ 24.3” LS dan 110° 19’ 19.2” BT (LP 2). Pada LP 1, berdasarkan nilai pembobotan RMR sebesar 63 pada batuan volkanik andesit, termasuk batuan kelas II atau tergolong baik (Good rock) dengan nilai kemiringan lereng (ψf) = 78°, kemiringan garis perpotongan dua bidang diskontinuitas (ψi) = 59° dan nilai sudut geser dalam (ϕ) = 45°, (ψf > ψi > ϕ), sehingga berpotensi untuk terbentuk jenis longsoran baji (wedge failure). Pada LP 2 berdasarkan nilai pembobotan RMR sebesar 59 pada batuan andesit, termasuk batuan kelas III yaitu Batu sedang (Fair rock) dengan nilai kemiringan lereng (ψf) = 66°, kemiringan garis perpotongan dua bidang diskontinuitas (ψi) = 48° dan nilai sudut geser dalam (ϕ) = 35° (ψf > ψi > ϕ), sehingga berpotensi untuk terbentuk jenis longsoran baji (wedge failure).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the geological conditions of the research area and to analyze and determine the stability of the slopes of the Klonggean dam based on the calculation of the safety factor of the slope by analyzing the stability of the slope in terms of the intensity of the slide (Bowles1984). The method used is the analysis of the slope factor of safety using Simplified Bishop Method use RoscienceSlide 6.0 software and graphical methods Hook and Bray (1981) which performed calculations manually. The results of the analysis get a factor of safety (FK) that is not much different and both are in the safe/stable category (slides rarely occur)) (Bowles 1984): 1. The results of the analysis of slope stability with Bishop Simplified Method use RocsienceSlide 6.0 Software obtained FK value of 2.944 (FK> 1.25). 2. The results of the analysis using the graphical method Hook and Bray obtained a safety factor value of 2.794 (FK> 1.25).

Abstract

In the North Serayu Basin, there are deepsea sedimentary material and volcanic material are deposited in the terrestrial environment. The varied depositional environments require a detailed geological understanding. Because research has yet to be carried out regarding the reconstruction of the geological history in the Gombong area, this research was carried out to study and understand the chronology of deposition and the condition of its geological structure. Research methods include field observation, stratigraphic analysis, and surface geological structure analysis. From old to young, the stratigraphy of the research area is the Shale Interbedded Unit with Rambatan Sandstone, the Halang Tuff Unit, the Dacite Intrusion Unit, and the Slamet Basalt Lava Unit. The reconstruction of the geological history of the research area began in the Middle Miocene - Late Miocene with the deposition of the Shale Interbedded Unit with Rambatan Sandstone in the lower Bathyal-Abysal bathymetric environment (500-2000 m) and the Halang Tuff Unit was deposited in the Late Miocene-Pliocene-finger conformity. Then, during the Late Miocene, the deposition of the Dacite Intrusion Unit occurred, which had an unconformable relationship (nonconformity) with interbedded shale units with Rambatan Sandstone below. Then, in the Late Miocene - Pliocene, due to the compressional regime phase of the Java Island subduction, a geological structure was formed with the principal stress (σ1) trending relatively northwest- southeast, which resulted in the Sarawak right-slip fault, the Mendelem thrust fault and the Gunungtiga normal fault. Furthermore, during the Pleistocene, volcanic activity continued, producing the Slamet Basalt Lava Unit, which had an incongruent relationship (nonconformity) with the Dacite Intrusion Unit below it.
