Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the application of the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at SMK Islam Vinama 2 Bekasi and knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research was conducted through analytical techniques from the data that had been obtained during research activities and the researchers attempted to explain and explain rationally, objectively with the objectives and existing research problems. The research method used is a naturalistic qualitative method, namely research that is based on a phenomenological view and seeks to understand the meaning of events and their relation to the object of research. This study formulates how the application of the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at the Vinama 2 Islamic Vocational School in Bekasi? then what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the application of the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at Vinama 2 Islamic Vocational School Bekasi?This study found at least 2 kinds of findings, namely: first, the Al-Barqy Method is a method used in learning to read and write the Qur'an, delivered practically and using a classical approach and has four institutional words in the AlBarqy method. Second, the application of the Al-Barqy method in schools (1) the teacher starts learning with an opening prayer, (2) the teacher checks the attendance of students, (3) the teacher provides Al-Barqy material (4) closing activities with a question and answer session (5) prayer Closing. The material in the Al-Barqy method starts from the introduction of hijaiyah letters using the word institution A-DA RA-JA MA-HA KA-YA KA-TA-WA-NA SA-MA LA-BA, recognition of the sound of aiu with fathah, kasrah , dhammah, the introduction of long and short reading phases, the introduction of the law of nun mati and tanwin readings, the phase of introducing muqottoah letters, and the law of reading Qolqolah and Alif Lam Qomariyyah and Syamsiyyah. So that students easily understand what the teacher is saying, and are able to improve students' ability to read the Qur'an. Third, the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of the AlBarqy method, among others, are the supporting factors of teachers who have taught previously, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of Al-Barqy method books available in schools, and the lack of teachers who attend training on the Al-Barqy method.
