Abstract

Many local food commodities in Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta, are still not utilized into products that are worth selling. This results in the amount continuing to increase in fresh conditions, resulting in a short shelf life. For this reason, through the implementation of the CSR program Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Rewulu together with the academic team aims to 1) increase the use of local food, especially jack beans which are easy to grow in all areas in Bantul, Yogyakarta, 2) Prepare the abilities of members of the Women's Farmers Group (KWT) to be able to process milk from koro beans. The assistance methods used are in the form of socialization, discussion, training and assistance in processing dairy products, as well as evaluation. This activity was carried out in several meetings to ensure that KWT members were able to carry out the processing appropriately. Based on the results of observations, it was found that KWT members were able to practice the training provided and carry out routine production activities during the last three months during the monitoring and evaluation period. It is hoped that through this mentoring activity, KWT members can take advantage of local food which is available in abundance with a higher selling value.

Abstract

This study addresses the critical issue of waste management in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, where only 14.9% of waste was properly managed in 2024. This issue is further exacerbated by the significant reduction of Integrated Waste Disposal Sites (TPST) and the accumulation of approximately 26 tons of durian peel waste per harvest season in Alasmalang Village. To overcome this challenge, the Alasmalang community, supported by the CSR program of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Maos, implemented “Bergelimang Program: Berdikari Mengelola Limbah Lingkungan”. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and desk research. The results highlight program innovations in transforming durian peel into environmentally friendly Class A fire extinguishers (APAR) by mixing durian peel powder with monoammonium phosphate (MAP), organic fertilizers for horticulture, and plant-based rodenticides utilizing flavonoids, polyphenols, and saponins. These innovations significantly contribute to environmental sustainability, advancing toward a net-zero waste movement, while simultaneously fostering economic empowerment in Alasmalang Village and its surrounding areas.

Abstract

Abstrak Banyaknya populasi penyandang disabilitas menjadikan sebagai kelompok yang paling rentan terjerumus dalam kemiskinan. Perlu adanya intervensi secara kolektif agar dapat terpenuhi hak-haknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat peran pihak swasta dalam mewujudkan pembangunan inklusi melalui program Rumah Kebugaran Difabel (RKD) di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik penarikan informan menggunakan purposive. Data-data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RKD melakukan identifikasi masalah, pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dan beberapa upaya dalam memberi akses kebugaran bagi kaum difabel. Sedangkan peran RKD sendiri ada lima antara lain menjadi wadah kegiatan, menghasilkan profesional messure, memfasilitasi kebutuhan difabel, memfasilitasi dengan pemangku kepentingan, dan memberikan layanan dengan sistem gotong royong. Kata kunci: Inklusif, Pemberdayaan, Pengembangan, Peran, Rumah Kebugaran Difabel Abstract The large population of people with disabilities makes them the most vulnerable group to fall into poverty. There needs to be a collective intervention in order to fulfill their rights. The purpose of this research is to see the role of the private sector in realizing inclusive development through the Difabel Fitness House (RKD) program in Yogyakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive of informants. The research data were obtained using interview, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that the RKD carried out problem identification, human resource development, and several efforts to provide access to fitness for people with disabilities. While the role of RKD itself is five, namely being a forum for activities, producing professional messengers, facilitating the needs of people with disabilities, facilitating with stakeholders, and providing services with a mutual cooperation system.
