Abstract

Abstract: This type of research is a school action research through the implementation of academic supervision of the Principal. The implementation of actions in the study was carried out in 3 cycles consisting of three meetings. This school action research was carried out in accordance with the coaching plan procedures and implementation scenarios during the teaching and learning process. Based on the results of the study, the improvement of teacher performance through the Principal's academic supervision was very good. It can be seen in the first meeting of 8 teachers at the time this research was conducted the average value reached; 59.64% increased to 68.75% and in cycle 3 increased to 75%. From the data analysis above that the Principal's performance coaching through the Principal's academic supervision is effectively applied in an effort to improve teacher performance, which means that the Principal's coaching process is more successful and can improve teacher performance, especially at SMP Negeri 1 Onanrunggu, Onanrunggu District, therefore it is hoped that the Principal can carry out coaching through academic supervision on an ongoing basis.Keywords: academic supervision; learning outcome evaluation; teacher performance.Abstak: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan sekolah melalui penerapan supervisi akademis Kepala Sekolah. Pelaksanaan tindakan dalam penelitian dilakukan 3 siklus yang terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Penelitian tindakan sekolah ini dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur rencana pembinaan dan skenario pelaksanaan pada saat proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peningkatan kinerja guru melalui supervisi akademis Kepala Sekolah hasilnya sangat baik. Hal itu tampak pada pertemuan pertama dari 8 orang guru yang ada pada saat penelitian ini dilakukan nilai rata rata mencapai; 59,64% meningkat menjadi 68,75% dan pada siklus 3 meningkat menjadi 75%. Dari analisis data bahwa pembinaan kinerja Kepala Sekolah melalui supervisi akademis Kepala Sekolah efektif diterapkan dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja guru, yang berarti proses pembinaan Kepala Sekolah lebih berhasil dan dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru khususnya di SMP Negeri 1 Onanrunggu Kecamatan Onanrunggu. Oleh karena itu diharapkan kepada para KepalaKata kunci: evaluasi hasil belajar; kinerja guru; supervisi akademik.
