Abstract

The type of research conducted was school action research where the target was the teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Lenek. The purpose of this school action research is to find out whether there is an increase in the professional competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Lenek after coaching through the application of the Collaborative Supervision Approach. In school action research this was carried out in 2 cycles, from the results of the actions taken it was proven to be able to increase the professional competence of teachers by achieving the set classical completeness of 85%. Classical completeness of 33.3% obtained in cycle I with an average value of 68.0 can increase its classical completeness in cycle II to 100% with an average value of 84.7. The results of this action research indicate that coaching through academic supervision can improve the professional competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Lenek with mastery increasing from 33.3% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II.
