<![CDATA[The aim of this research was to improve student learning outcomes by applying the STAD to teach Bahasa Indonesian in Class VI, one of the primary schools in Landak district. This classroom action research (CAR) was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle was held once in one meeting. The results of the Cycle I analysis showed that there was an increase from pre-cycle to cycle I. It was found that the students' learning completeness score in cycle I reached 63.33%, with the average value of learning outcomes also increasing from pre-cycle 54.63%, increased in cycle I to 63.33%. As result, the completeness of learning from pre-cycle to cycle I results in an increase in learning outcomes of 40%. Cycle II reached 83.33%, with the average value of learning outcomes also increasing from cycle I 67.83, increasing in cycle II to 77.33%. With this in mind, learning completeness from cycle I to cycle II results in an improvement in learning outcomes of 9.5%. This means that the research indicators had been achieved well and there was no need to continue in the next cycle. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode STAD pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Kelas VI, salah satu sekolah dasa (SD) di kabupaten Landak. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 Siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan satu kali pertemuan. Hasil dari analisis Siklus I menunjukkan ada peningkatan dari pra siklus ke siklus I, hal ini diketahui bahwa nilai ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 63,33%, dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan dari pra siklus 54,63%, meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 63,33%. Sehingga ketuntasan belajar pra siklus ke siklus I memperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 40%. siklus II mencapai 83,33%, dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I 67,83, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 77,33%. Sehingga ketuntasan belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II memperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 9,5%.
