Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: Stunting is the impaired growth and development that children experience from poor nutrition, repeated infection, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. Background Problems: Based on data from the National Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) in 2022, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia was 21.6%, which is still above the WHO standard of below 20%. Novelty: This study was conducted with the aim of analysing the factors that influence the stunting prevalence rate in Indonesia using multi-predictor truncated spline nonparametric regression. Research Methods: The research data is secondary data taken from Health Statistics 2022 with response variables in the form of stunting prevalence. Finding Result: Based on the analysis, the best model to model the stunting prevalence rate is a multi-predictor truncated spline with three knots. In addition, it was found that four predictor variables which are the percentage of infants under 6 months old receiving exclusive breastfeeding, the average age of a mother's first pregnancy, the percentage of married women aged 15-49 using contraception, and the percentage of mothers who gave birth to a live child in the past two years and initiated early breastfeeding had a significant effect simultaneously and partially on the stunting prevalence rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the public value contained in the social piety dimension of Wayang Wali culture, as a driving instrument for policy development of the capacity of cultural communities and the people of Blitar. The data collection method used in this research is a qualitative study with unstructured observation and documentation study. The data were analysed using componential techniques to find the interrelationship of values contained within the scope of the research object. We found that there are elements of social piety in Wayang Wali culture as a public value in the community, and can be used as a driving value for cultural and community capacity development. The government or relevant authorities can make Wayang Wali culture an instrument of social development and capacity building of cultural communities and society as a local identity.

Abstract

In this sophisticated digital era, humans are easier to connect to everything. Unfortunately, this convenience is often used for things that should not be, such as insulting other people through chatting. This makes cyberbullying rampant, especially body shaming and harassment which cause depression, anxiety, and lack of confidence. The aim of this research is analyzing the relationship between the frequency in using social media and the anxiety level as the impact of body shaming and harassment. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a correlational method. The results of this study are there is no relationship between the frequency of using social media and the anxiety level for both victims of body shaming and harassment, but if viewed based on the results of the respondents it is found that the possibility of cyberbullying is due to the level of education of the perpetrators, attitudes, and behavior. Advice that can be given is the need of further research on the main factors that cause cyberbullying and advice for readers is to control attitudes and behavior while using social media.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of Wayang Wali performances on the religiosity of the Blitar society. Data was collected through a survey with stratified random sampling technique to 367 people in Blitar. The study employs two approaches: Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). CFA analysis show that all indicators for the five latent variables have shown significant Z-values, exceeding the threshold of 1.96. This confirms that the indicators are reliable measures for their respective latent constructs. Given this significance, the model demonstrates robust construct validity, ensuring that each latent variable is accurately represented by its indicators. From inner and outer models analysis, show that family environment, personality, social piety, and transpersonal psychology have an effect on the religiosity of the Blitar community because the t-statistical value > t table or 1.96 and the P-Value is 0.000 < 0.05. Through this research, Blitar government can enhance community religiosity, preserving cultural heritage and strengthening religious and moral values.

Abstract

Indonesia is located in the ring of fire region. This condition causes Indonesia to have the potential to experience various disasters, such as volcano eruptions. In addition, rapid population growth has led to rampant land conversions that cause floods, landslides, tornadoes, droughts, and forest fires. The research aims to map natural disasters in Indonesia, especially Java Island to find out the provinces and their natural disasters tendency using Biplot analysis. Based on the results, Central Java, East Java, and West Java have a tendency to have floods and landslides. East Java tends to undergo earthquakes and Central Java has the potential to experience volcano eruptions. Through the natural disasters mapping, the government, especially the BMKG, will be able to find various solutions to overcome the natural disasters that have great potential to occur in provinces in Indonesia, especially Java Island as the manifestation toward SDGs Target 2030.
