<![CDATA[Abstract. Technology that continues to develop to produce online journalism and is able to follow human information needs. Online journalism is one type of journalism in spreading news from existing media. Currently, high school students are directed to active learning patterns with a competency-based curriculum approach so that students actively access news through the internet and influence the shape of their communication patterns. SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat also applies distance learning, every student is also active in accessing online news that affects the shape of their communication patterns. The majority of respondents in this study were women by sixty-one percent and men as much as thirty-nine percent who had an active tendency to use social media and actively access online news. The results of this study indicate a conclusion that is in accordance with the formulation of the problem to be achieved that the online journalism variable contributes to the group communication pattern variable by zero point five hundred two or a percentage of fifty point two percent. Based on the results of this study, data was obtained with an explanation that Ha which stated that there was an influence of online journalism on group communication patterns, thus H0 also showed that there was no influence of online journalism on group communication patterns was rejected. It can be concluded that online journalism affects group communication patterns in students of SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat. Abstrak. Teknologi yang terus berkembang hingga menghasilkan jurnalisme online dan mampu mengikuti kebutuhan informasi manusia. Jurnalisme online merupakan salah satu jenis jurnalistik dalam menyebarkan berita dari media-media yang ada. Saat ini siswa menengah atas diarahkan pada pola belajar aktif dengan pendekatan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi sehingga siswa aktif mengakses berita melalui internet dan mempengaruhi bentuk pola komunikasi mereka. SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat juga menerapkan pembelajaran jarak jauh setiap siswa - siswi nya juga aktif mengakses berita online yang mempengaruhi bentuk pola komunikasi mereka. Mayoritas responden pada penelitian ini merupakan perempuan sebesar enam puluh satu persen dan laki - laki sebanyak tiga puluh sembilan persen yang memiliki kecenderungan aktif menggunakan sosial media dan aktif mengakses berita online. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan kesimpulan yang sesuai dengan rumusan masalah yang ingin dicapai bahwa variabel jurnalisme online memberikan kontribusi kepada variabel pola komunikasi kelompok sebesar nol koma lima ratus dua atau persentase sebesar lima puluh koma dua persen. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data dengan penjelasan bahwa Ha yang menyatakan adanya pengaruh jurnalisme online terhadap pola komunikasi kelompok dengan demikian H0 juga menunjukan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh jurnalisme online terhadap pola komunikasi kelompok ditolak. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa jurnalisme online mempengaruhi pola komunikasi kelompok pada siswa SMKN 2 Cikarang Barat.]]>
