Based on observations at SMAN 7 Barabai, it was discovered that several students had difficulty understanding the concept of a system of linear equations in two variables. To overcome conceptual misunderstanding, it is necessary to look for alternative solutions to help students overcome difficulties by improving the learning process so that students are helped and directed to understand concepts. The examples non-examples learning model is applied as a bridge to help students understand the SPLDV concept. This research aims to describe the implementation of learning by applying the examples non-examples learning model so that it can increase understanding of the SPLDV concept, where the research subjects were 36 students in class X1 at SMAN 7 Barabai. Implementing the examples non-examples learning model can increase understanding of the SPLDV concept through learning steps consisting of three activities, namely initial activities, core activities and final activities. The research design uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with a spiral cycle. This research consisted of two cycles with 3 meetings each cycle. The results of the final test of cycle I showed that 77.8% of students completed it, but for indicator question no. 83% of students have not completed 3c and 3e so cycle II is still being implemented. The results of the final test of cycle II showed that 91.67% of students completed. ABSTRAKBerdasarkan observasi di SMAN 7 Barabai, ditemukan fakta beberapa siswa memiliki kesulitan dalam pemahaman konsep tentang sistem persamaan linier dua variabel. Untuk mengatasi ketidakpahaman konseptual, maka perlu dicari alternatif pemecahan untuk membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan melalui perbaikan proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa terbantu dan terarah memahami konsep. Model pembelajaran examples non-examples diterapkan sebagai jembatan untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep SPLDV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran examples non-examples sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep SPLDV, dimana yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X1 SMAN 7 Barabai sebanyak 36 siswa. Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran examples non-examples dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep SPLDV melalui langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang terdiri dari tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan akhir. Rancangan Penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan siklus spiral. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan 3 kali pertemuan setiap siklus. Hasil tes akhir siklus I menunjukkan bahwa 77,8% siswa tuntas, tetapi untuk indikator soal no. 3c dan 3e 83% siswa belum tuntas sehingga siklus II tetap dilaksanakan. Hasil tes akhir siklus II menunjukkan bahwa 91,67% siswa tuntas.
