Abstract

The discussion method is a way or approach that can be applied by an educator in the classroom with the aim of solving problems through the exchange of arguments, opinions, and achieving consensus and agreement from learners. The objectives of this research are: 1) To identify the steps of the discussion method in enhancing the learning motivation of students in class 2B at SD Islam NU Sekaran. 2) To determine the inhibiting factors of applying the discussion method in improving the learning motivation of students in class 2B at SD Islam NU Sekaran. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive research type, which is a research procedure or problem-solving investigated with a description of the subjects or objects used, such as individuals, institutions, communities, and others. Data collection methods used include interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results are as follows: 1) Discussion method steps: The teacher introduces the problem, students identify the core issue. Students form groups with individual tasks and teacher guidance. Students actively engage in the group, and the teacher maintains order and provides support. Each group presents a report, is responded to by other groups, and receives feedback from the teacher. The groups record the discussion results collected by the teacher. The teacher reads the discussion results, makes corrections, and provides assessments. The entire process serves as a basis for improvement in future discussions. 2) Inhibiting factors: Less active group members can hinder the method. The presence of the teacher has a significant impact. Extensive material can prolong the discussion. Dominance by vocal students creates imbalance. There is potential for emotional reactions if opinions are not accepted.

Abstract

Learning the Qur'an is an obligation that must be undertaken and nurtured by every Muslim individual. This forms the fundamental reasoning behind prioritizing the skill of reading the Qur'an as the main focus in Islamic education. One of the approaches that can be employed in Qur'anic learning is the An-Nahdliyah method. This method emphasizes conformity and regularity with the rhythm of recitation. The objectives of this research are to gain an overall understanding of the implementation of the An-Nahdliyah method at MI NU Assalaam in Wonorejo Barat and to identify the supporting and hindering factors in Qur'anic learning at MI NU Assalaam in Wonorejo Barat, Kampungbaru Kepung, Kediri. In this study, a qualitative approach was utilized with data collection techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation, integrated to obtain comprehensive data. The method of data analysis employed was qualitative descriptive. The research findings indicate that: (1) the implementation of the An-Nahdliyah method at MI NU Assalaam involves the use of materials aligned with the targeted outcomes through demonstration, drill, and lecture methods, with adjustments in the allocated class time as specified in the instructional guidebook. (2) Supporting factors in Qur'anic learning at MI NU Assalaam encompass reading intelligence, students' attitudes and interests, study habits, knowledge or experience in reading, and the students' overall condition. Hindering factors in Qur'anic learning at MI NU Assalaam include limited reading abilities, psychological factors, and external influences from family and the environment.

Abstract

The Fun Learning Method is an instructional approach that prioritizes joy and enjoyment, focusing on the psychological conditions of students and the learning environment. The goal is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere, fostering love and motivation for learning among participants. This research aims to explore the steps of implementing the Fun Learning method at MI NU As-salaam. The study adopts a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, focusing on portraying subjects or objects of research, such as individuals, institutions, communities, and other entities. The descriptive approach is employed to investigate or solve problems by providing detailed descriptions of the characteristics or conditions of the subjects or objects. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation, allowing for a profound understanding of the researched phenomenon. The results of the study indicate that the steps of the Fun Learning method involve creating a lively learning environment through musical activities, singing, and cheers. Subsequently, the teacher presents the learning topic and provides motivation. Detailed explanations of the material, along with example problems, are given to reinforce understanding. After students grasp the material, the teacher forms groups to enhance interaction and assigns tasks using worksheets or textbooks.

Abstract

Education is the main factor to form children who have faith and devotion to Allah and the problems that are being faced in the world of education are weak education, Learning in Madrasah Ibtidai'ah Miftahul Ulum 03 Has obstacles in learning including understanding prayer, in reading some children are still not memorized. Therefore, in order for students to better understand prayer, there needs to be a variety of methods. For example, in learning fiqh bab shalat using the simulation method, this simulation method can help secure prayers because in this simulation method the child is more into practice regarding the behavior carried out as if in the actual situation, so that the child can more easily understand the prayer.

Abstract

The problem experienced by 3rd grade students of MI Islamiyah Banjaranyar during the learning process is difficulty in calculating multiplication. This study aims to find out the difficulties of multiplication counting and the explanation of the application of multiplication board media in overcoming students' difficulties in multiplication calculation and to find out the supporting factors for the use of multiplication board media for grade 3 students of MI Isalamiyah Banjaranyar. This researcher is designed using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the findings found that there were 5 students who had difficulty calculating multiplication. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) to overcome the difficulty of multiplication calculation, educators use multiplication board media. The implementation steps are to introduce the multiplication board media to the students, face the multiplication board media, the teacher explains KI, KD and the learning objectives, the teacher explains the multiplication material, the teacher explains how to use the multiplication board, then the teacher asks the students to try to calculate multiplication by using the multiplication board media. (2) The factors that support the existence of multiplication board media are clear visuals, interaction, teacher creativity, institutional support, interaction and can be manipulated. Another factor is the existence of a learning place, support from the principal to apply this multiplication board media and from the results of the application of this multiplication board media, the difficulty of calculating multiplication is resolved. (3) factors that affect the inhibition of multiplication board media in overcoming students' difficulties in learning to multiply are Limited Access, Teacher Readiness, Student Interest, Inconsistent Application. Lack of Interaction, Separation from Real Context.

Abstract

This research develops a modified domino card learning media as a new innovation to enhance students' understanding in Thematic learning for Grade III at SDN Kebonrejo 1 Kepung Kediri, specifically Theme 8 "Praja Muda Karana" Subtheme 2 "Aku Anak Mandiri" Lessons 5 and 6. This research offers novelty by integrating game elements based on modified domino cards specifically designed to support more interactive and engaging thematic learning. The development model used is ADDIE, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests (pretest and posttest). Data analysis methods involved qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative data were obtained through interviews and observations, which were analyzed to understand the learning context and validator feedback. Quantitative data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 29 to process the results of media validation, questionnaires, and pretest and posttest comparisons. Instrument validity was tested using Product Moment correlation, while questionnaire reliability was calculated using Cronbach's Alpha, with reliability values above 0.7 indicating adequate instrument consistency. The effectiveness test was carried out through N-Gain Score analysis, showing an increase in student learning outcomes from 46 to 88 with an N-Gain value of 78% (effective category). The practical implications of this research include the application of learning media that not only improves student learning outcomes but also creates a more enjoyable and interactive learning atmosphere. This media provides an alternative for teachers to overcome the limitations of conventional methods such as lectures and question-and-answer sessions. With an easy-to-use design, this media can be adopted by teachers in various schools for thematic learning and other relevant subjects.

Abstract

Education is a crucial process for forming understanding, maturity and critical thinking abilities in humans. In Indonesia, education is divided into three main channels: formal, non-formal and informal. Informal education, provided in the family environment before school, is an important basis. Non-formal education, such as the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), functions to complement and deepen formal education with an emphasis on developing students' potential and knowledge. TPQ plays an important role in instilling religious values ​​from an early age through teaching the Koran and religious materials. To increase the effectiveness of learning at TPQ, structured teaching modules are needed, which facilitate teaching and learning and ensure consistency and quality. Teaching modules function as a guide that organizes learning objectives, materials, activities and assessments, and can be adapted to student needs and available resources. This research involves creating teaching modules for TPQ Nurul Huda in Prayungan Hamlet, with a focus on preparing material that is practical and easy for children to understand. Activities begin with situation analysis, coordination with related parties, printing of modules, outreach to parents and teachers, and evaluation of module use. This program aims to improve the quality of religious learning, encourage parental involvement, and motivate children to learn. The results show an increase in children's interest and enthusiasm as well as positive support from parents, with the hope that this teaching module can become an effective reference for religious education in the future.
