Abstract

Solidaritas merupakan salah satu nilai yang menjadi sorotan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek RI) dalam dunia pendidikan dan juga pada Kelompok Kerja Pendidikan G20 yang terselenggara di tahun 2022. Tujuan dari penulisan ini untuk menganalisis beragam wujud dari solidaritas yang telah terjadi dan bisa diterapkan di lingkungan sekolah dasar, juga sebagai bahan refleksi bagi para guru untuk dapat menerapkan nilai solidaritas. Jenis dari penulisan ini menggunakan kualitatif-deskriptif. Penulis menggumpulkan beragam data menggunakan teknik penelitian seperti observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk memeroleh beragam wujud dari manifestasi yang terjadi. Analisis data menggunakan model dari MilesHuberman yang berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitan ini merupakan guru-guru di SDN 3 Depok yang berjumlah 10 orang dengan beragam pengalaman yang sudah memenuhi kriteria dari peneliti yang dilakukan selama kurang lebih 3 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solidaritas sudah diwujudkan oleh para guru dalam beragam program yang ada di sekolah seperti Jumat Bersih, Jumat Sehat dan Senin Berteman. Selain itu, nilai dari solidaritas penting untuk dijunjung, dan diimplementasikan oleh setiap guru yang sejalan dengan keinginan Kemendikbudristek RI yang dikemukakan pada G20 Education Working Group/EdWG. Manifestasi dari nilai solidaritas dapat diterapkan apabila guru memiliki karakter baik yang dibutuhkan di zaman modern ini.

Abstract

History education is not only concerned with the aspect of the time dimension but there are other things that can be taken from the value of history. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a combination of literature study methods and historical methods. The combined research model of James Schreiber and Kimberly Asner-Self regarding literature review studies with Kuntowijoyo's model of historical research studies. The researcher used steps from historical studies and a literature review to make this research seen from a more contemporary angle. Data analysis uses the historical method by criticizing the sources that will be used in writing. The research instrument in this paper is the researcher who collects the main focus and collects sources. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the important role of history education that can help become the foundation of students' critical thinking skills at the primary school level in Indonesia. The results of this study explain that history education needs to be given to students at the primary school level. Primary school students can be said to have the ability to interpret, analyze, evaluate, infer, and explain an event, especially in simple history education. The development of critical thinking skills in history education can be done by improving the good narrative skills of history teachers by inviting students to dive into the past. Teachers can visit places that have high historical heritage value and provide factual explanations in the context of the present. History education can help elementary school students understand an event that is not only about time but also important as a foundation for students' critical thinking to recognize events as a whole and be able to understand situations and information related to the environment around students.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to provide a description and analysis of the processes that led to the establishment of philosophical ideals and tolerance in the Nyarumkop village in Singkawang, West Kalimantan. The research technique employed is qualitative, based on Paul Ricœur's hermeneutic-phenomenological approach. This methodology aims to understand the significance embedded in the symbol of tolerance, which is linked to the context of social existence. In addition, the Aristotelian method of philosophical inquiry employs the Golden Mean as the Middle Way between two extreme poles in the process of decision-making or action-taking, which ultimately leads to arete, which is synonymous with perfection. Several religious leaders from Nyarumkop Village were interviewed to determine the information based on the criteria provided by the researchers. During the research, the methods used for data collection included documentation, interviews, and observation. The findings of the research suggest that tolerance is the key to achieving harmony within the Nyarumkop village, which is renowned for its rich religious and ethnic diversity. Religious discussion is a crucial component in fostering tolerance and understanding. The Nyarumkop village holds four significant parts of the philosophical principles. These include the spirit of kinship, friendship, mutual collaboration, and the empowerment of communal life via the economy, as well as tourism's role in Nyarumkop village.
