Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve cognitive and fine motor skills in Group A children aged 4-5 years at UNISBA Preschool through the sensory wall number play method. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and a Classroom Action Research method that refers to the Kemmis and McTaggart research models. The subjects in this study were six children in Group A aged 4-5 years at UNISBA Preschool, consisting of three girls and three boys. Data collection techniques using observation sheets were employed. The researcher chose the data analysis technique developed by Miles and Huberman, which consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The success criterion of this study was that the average percentage of cognitive and fine motor skills in Group A was ≥75%. In cycle I, the average percentage was 77.73% in the Developing According to Expectations category, and in cycle II, the average percentage was 100% in the Developing According to Expectations category. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that after the action was taken through sensory wall number playing activities. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kognitif dan motorik halus pada anak Kelompok A usia 4-5 tahun di UNISBA Preschool melalui metode bermain sensory wall number. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang mengacu pada penelitian model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang anak Kelompok A usia 4-5 tahun di UNISBA Preschool, yang terdiri dari 3 anak perempuan dan 3 anak laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi. Peneliti memilih teknik analisis data yang dikembangkan Miles dan Huberman terdiri dari tiga alur kegiatan yang terjadi secara bersamaan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Kriteria keberhasilan penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata persentase kemampuan kognitif dan motorik halus Kelompok A sebesar ≥75. Pada siklus I dengan rata-rata persentase 77,73% pada kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, pada siklus II dengan rata-rata persentase 100% pada kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setelah adanya tindakan yang ditempuh melalui kegiatan bermain sensory wall number.
