Abstract

Voting is the most important part of choosing leaders in an organization or institution, especially for those of us who use a democratic system. The election of organizational leaders in Darunnajah is still carried out conventionally, elections still use paper to select organizational leaders which is carried out by recording and counting the name or picture of one of the candidates. Creating the Darunnajah Vote System in the form of a web application for the election of organizational leaders in the Darunnajah environment can speed up the voting process. The web application is built using PHP and MySQL with features of user management, class management, candidate management, and E-Voting. This study aims to build an e-voting system that is expected to provide voting results quickly, and accurately and can be monitored in real-time during the implementation of the leader election. This system development method uses a web application-based SDLC Waterfall model. Testing using the black box method, every feature contained in the Darunnajah Vote System application, namely the Admin Login feature, User Login, User Voting, and User Data Processing features runs normally and functions properly.

Abstract

Education provides a very important role in improving the quality of life in society in a country. With a large number of students in each class, it can cause the material to not be delivered properly. Therefore, it is necessary to group students based on their learning ability. The data used was obtained from Senior High School (SMA) Darunnajah Jakarta. Darunnajah High School Jakarta is one of the educational institutions under the auspices of Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School. Data mining techniques with classification methods are proposed to predict student performance in class. The results of student classification can be used as a reference in providing material according to their learning ability. The aim of this research is to ascertain the optimal classification algorithm and pinpoint the key factors influencing students' academic standing. Various classification methods, including logistic regression, KNN, and SVM, were employed in this study. The performance of these models was assessed using diverse metrics such as the f1 score, ROC curve, and performance matrix. Ultimately, the SVM algorithm demonstrated the highest accuracy, achieving an 84% accuracy rate compared to KNN and logistic regression.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of smartphone technology, particularly with operating systems like Android, has facilitated the development of diverse mobile applications that deliver accessible and functional information. As a widely used platform, Android supports innovative solutions to address user needs in various domains. Fitness, as a structured form of exercise utilizing specialized equipment and techniques, aims to help individuals achieve a proportional and healthy body. Despite its popularity, many people lack knowledge about proper training methods and remain unaware of fitness centers in their vicinity. This challenge is particularly pronounced among beginners, who may feel hesitant to exercise alone. Furthermore, fitness enthusiasts often seek opportunities to exercise with friends or partners to enhance their experience. This study employs a combination of observation, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and literature reviews to gather data and insights for developing the Lifespa Fitness Android-based application. The application serves as a comprehensive fitness information hub, providing users with essential details such as membership procedures, pricing, class schedules, and the location of Lifespa Fitness. Designed with efficiency and user accessibility in mind, the application enables users to access fitness-related information conveniently anytime and anywhere via their smartphones. The development of this application not only addresses the knowledge gap in proper training methods but also fosters greater engagement in fitness activities by making information readily available and promoting social interaction among fitness enthusiasts. This research contributes to the digital transformation of the fitness industry, offering a scalable and user-friendly solution that enhances public health awareness and encourages a more active lifestyle.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah Sulawesi Barat belum memiliki media informasi digital yang terintegrasi untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Penyampaian informasi yang masih dilakukan melalui media konvensional menyebabkan informasi mengenai profil pesantren, kegiatan, fasilitas, dan pendaftaran santri belum dapat diakses secara optimal oleh masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan website Profil Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah Sulawesi Barat sebagai media informasi dan promosi berbasis web. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media informasi digital terpusat yang mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai informasi pesantren dalam satu platform berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang meliputi enam tahapan, yaitu identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain sistem, validasi desain, uji coba produk, dan produk akhir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi untuk memperoleh kebutuhan sistem. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, dilakukan perancangan dan implementasi website menggunakan framework CodeIgniter 4 dengan dukungan PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript. Website yang dikembangkan menyediakan fitur profil pesantren, sejarah, struktur organisasi, kegiatan, galeri, video, download brosur, dan informasi kontak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website berhasil diimplementasikan sebagai media informasi digital Pondok Pesantren Madinatunnajah Sulawesi Barat. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode Black Box Testing terhadap 20 skenario pengujian yang mencakup fitur administrator dan halaman informasi publik menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang telah dirancang dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Dengan demikian, website yang dikembangkan mampu mendukung penyebaran informasi, promosi, dan dokumentasi kegiatan pesantren secara lebih efektif.
