Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Game Based Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students on natural disaster mitigation material at SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. The sampling technique in this research used the Simple Random Sampling method. The samples used in this research were class XI IPS 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 1 as the control class. In testing the data, the results obtained showed that there was an influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class. The experimental class experienced an increase in cognitive learning outcomes, namely from 68 to 82. Meanwhile, the results for the control class were from 47.3 to 71. This conclusion is also supported by the acquisition of Sig. in the unpaired t test it is 0.005, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because of the Sig value. < 0.05. So there is an increase in learning outcomes but it is not too influential after using the Game Based Learning model.

Abstract

Karang Taruna is a community social organization as a forum for youth to develop each member on the basis of awareness and social responsibility by and for the community at the village/district level. The aim of this research is to look at the contribution of Karang Taruna in Manggarai Village, Tebet District - South Jakarta among the community in overcoming the flood problem that occurred in Manggarai Village, Tebet District - South Jakarta. Karang Taruna's contribution to flood management will be analyzed using the Triangulation method, namely by obtaining data from various sources. The results of this research are to determine the contribution of Karang Taruna to handling floods that occurred in Manggarai Village, Tebet sub-district - South Jakarta

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities in the 21st century are demands for every educator and student. Education currently emphasizes the core foundations of literacy and numeracy skills, social and emotional skills, health, digital literacy, and data literacy. Media is needed that can accommodate the transfer of information and knowledge to students. This study aims to determine the effect of using Canva media on Geography subjects. Overall, the results of the study show that the use of Canva as a learning medium has an effect on student learning outcomes in Geography. The F count = 16.856 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The magnitude of the correlation or relationship value in column R is 0.600. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.360 which implies that the influence of the independent variable, namely the use of Canva media on the dependent variable, namely the learning outcome, is 36%.
