Abstract

The integration of local wisdom in learning is still lacking. Teachers are still not able to integrate local wisdom into learning. This study aims to create digital teaching materials oriented to Balinese local wisdom for fifth grade elementary school. This research is development research with ADDIE model. Data is classified into two, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire technique. Questionnaires were used to measure the validity and practicality of digital teaching materials. Validity was tested by two experts, namely material experts, media experts, and design experts. Practicality was assessed by 8 teachers and 8 fifth grade elementary school students. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of the validity test shows that the overall average validation is 3.84 and is in the very valid category. The practicality of these digital teaching materials shows that the average teacher assessment of the practicality of digital teaching materials is 3.78 and is in the very practical category. The student's assessment was obtained at 3.65 which was in the very practical category. The t-test shows that the value of Sig.(2-tailed) <0.05 is significant. So, digital teaching materials oriented to Balinese local wisdom to improve students' cultural literacy on the Ecosystem material for grade V elementary school which is very valid, very practical, and effective.

Abstract

Tri Hita Karana, sebuah filosofi budaya Bali yang menekankan harmoni antara manusia dengan Tuhan (Parahyangan), sesama manusia (Pawongan), dan lingkungan (Palemahan), memiliki relevansi strategis dalam pendidikan berbasis kearifan lokal di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana dalam kurikulum berbasis etnopedagogi sebagai upaya revitalisasi budaya untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berakar pada budaya lokal dan adaptif terhadap tantangan modernitas. Pendekatan ini didukung oleh teori etnopedagogi yang menyoroti pentingnya memanfaatkan budaya lokal sebagai sumber utama pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif-analitis, yang memanfaatkan data primer berupa wawancara mendalam dengan dosen, siswa, dan pemangku adat, serta data sekunder dari dokumen kebijakan pendidikan dan literatur terkait. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai Tri Hita Karana dalam kurikulum mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang menguatkan kesadaran ekologis, mempererat hubungan sosial, dan memperdalam spiritualitas peserta didik. Namun, tantangan utama meliputi adaptasi nilai-nilai ini di luar Bali dan memastikan relevansinya dalam konteks pendidikan global. Kesimpulannya, Tri Hita Karana memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi model pendidikan inovatif yang tidak hanya melestarikan budaya lokal tetapi juga menjawab tantangan globalisasi. Rekomendasi utama mencakup sinergi antara pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, dan masyarakat adat untuk mengembangkan kurikulum berbasis budaya lokal yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Mejejahitan is an activity to obtain the shapes of pieces of leaf material. The product of this activity is called jejahitan. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The aim of this research is to determine the mathematical concepts that exist in Balinese jejahitan and the potential for their use in the mathematics learning process. The subjects of this research were three mothers from Dalung village. The data in this research was analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion. Studies on Mathematics learning contained in jejahitan include squares, rectangles, trapezoids and circles. The geometric elements contained in this jejahitan can be used as a learning resource, especially those related to the elements, properties and fold symmetry of squares, rectangles, trapezoids and circles.
