Abstract

The study investigates the effectiveness of the profession in the student education scholarship program, with a focus on case studies at UPZ UINSA. A professional levy is a levy granted from the income of an individual who works or has a particular profession. The scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to students who are financially impaired. The study uses descriptive methods with data analysis from 2021 to 2023. The results of the research showed a significant increase in the number of muzakki (people who give the zakat of the profession), number of recipients of scholarships, and number of nominal zakat professions granted. This indicates that the distribution of professional zakat funds at UPZ UINSA has undergone a positive development. However, the study also found a few challenges for UPZ UINSA in giving the employee a zakat. The conclusion of this study is that the skill of the profession is effective in the student education scholarship program, but there needs to be better efforts in overcoming the existing obstacles. This research contributes to an understanding of the role of vocational talent in improving access to education for students from poor or disadvantaged families.

Abstract

This Paper discusses about the abortion fatwa issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI). The MUI issued a fatwa twice about abortion. In this fatwa, the MUI considers emergency aspects (darurat and hajat). Basically, the law of abortion is unclean (haram), both before this spirit is blown and after it. However, in certain conditions, especially those related to the interets of the mother and baby from the medical side, including in the case of abortion due to rape, so abortion is allowed before the age 40 days or still in the germ (nutfah) phase. Abstract

The digital era allows sexual activities to be carried out online. This article aims to look at cybersex culture and how the reality of that culture is formed. Data about cybersex was extracted from previous research and sites on the internet that describe the reality of cybersex. This data was then analyzed using content analysis. The theories used are Peter L. Berger's dialectical theory of externalization, objectivation and internalization and the uses and gratification theory. This research found that the formation of sexual culture in the digital era comes from externalization, both by consumers and producers of cybersex. Externalization by producers takes the form of providing pornographic sites, pornographic videos and images, and long-distance sex equipment. The continued interest in cybersex makes manufacturers continue to produce sex services and develop online sex equipment. Cybersex becomes a compelling objective reality that must be internalized in cybersociety’s subjective consciousness and influence the next externalization stage. Cybersex has become a medium for channelling sexual needs because it is considered safe from various social risks, cheap and practical.

Abstract

The Sidoarjo-Surabaya Electric Railway (KRL) project is aimed at improving connectivity and stimulating local economic growth. This study examines the economic perception of the project from an Islamic perspective and its alignment with the principles of Maqashid Sharia. The project is expected to create fair and sustainable economic benefits for the communities involved. The research finds that community support for the project is influenced by their involvement in decision-making processes, their perception of economic advantages, and the project's adherence to principles of social justice and environmental sustainability. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the importance of inclusive policies that prioritize economic justice. The project should not be solely considered a transportation solution, but also a catalyst for community prosperity in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Zakat is a type of philanthropy in the Islamic religion that has a very important role in improving the welfare of the Muslim Ummah and is one of the five pillars of Islam. In terms of zakat management, it is not only the responsibility of the government but there needs to be a role from the community and zakat amil institutions organized by local communities. Especially in terms of Islamic community life, mosques have a very close relationship. Mosques not only function as places of worship but have a very important role in terms of zakat management with models of collecting, distributing, utilizing zakat, and managing human resources for zakat managers. The existence of zakat amil institutions in Indonesia, can help facilitate the process of collecting and distributing zakat in Indonesia. Zakat adalah salah satu filantropi dalam agama Islam yang mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan Umat Islam dan merupakan salah satu rukun dari lima rukun Islam. Dalam hal pengelolaan zakat tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab pemerintah namun perlu adanya peran dari masyarakat dan lembaga amil zakat yang diselenggarakan oleh masyarakat setempat. Khususnya dalam hal kehidupan masyarakat Islami, masjid mempunyai kaitan yang sangat erat. Masjid tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat ibadah semata, tetapi mempunyai peran yang amat penting dalam hal pengelolaan zakat dengan model pengumpulan, pendistribusian, pendayagunaan zakat dan manajemen sumber daya manusia pengelola zakat. Dengan adanya lembaga-lembaga amil zakat yang ada indonesia dapat membantu memudahkan proses pengumpulan dan penyaluran zakat yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan maqasid syariah pada produk tabungan berjangka di Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Surabaya Ampel Mas Mansyur. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menjelaskan secara lengkap mengenai teknis penerapan produk tabungan berjangka di BSI KCP Surabaya Ampel Mas Mansyur, sehingga dapat diketahui penerapan maqasid syariah pada produk tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa produk tabungan berjangka di BSI KCP Surabaya Ampel Mas Mansyur yang meliputi tabungan pendidikan, tabungan rencana, dan rekening AutoSave serta Qurban telah menerapkan aspek maqasid syariah secara umum. Tabungan pendidikan telah menerapkan tiga aspek maqasid syariah, yaitu memelihara akal, harta, dan keturunan. Tabungan rencana telah menerapkan lima aspek maqasid syariah, yaitu memelihara agama, jiwa, akal, harta, dan keturunan. Rekening AutoSave dan Qurban telah menerapkan tiga aspek maqasid syariah, yaitu memelihara agama, harta, dan keturunan.
