Abstract

This type of research is a type of qualitative research. Qualitative research is a type of research whose findings are not obtained through statistical procedures or other forms of calculation and aims to reveal phenomena holistically-contextually through collecting data from natural settings by utilizing the researcher himself as the key instrument. The strategy carried out by the Tahfidz Teacher at the Yapi Sipare-pare Private Madrasah Aliyah in improving the students' ability to memorize the Koran, consists ofof several actions, Private Yapi Sipare-pare in an effort to improve memorization skillsstudents' Koran, namely as follows: 1), there are students who have not been able to read the Koran properly, 2), the teacher's health can interfere with concentration in teaching, 3), there is a feeling of laziness from students when memorizing the Koran, and 4) there is intelligence different from students. The solution to this obstacle can be overcome by the teacher by providing tahsin guidance which is carried out periodically. In addition to the presence of several students who have not been able to read the Koran properly, there are also students who are lazy to memorize. This situation does not occur every day, but when students feel lazy, it will be difficult for students to memorize, even for teachers to guide student memorization. The solution that teachers can do to prevent students from feeling lazy is to always provide motivation in the form of advice and continuous memorization targets so that student memorization is always measurable. In addition to these obstacles there are also obstacles that in practice are not in accordance with the theory presented by the author.

Abstract

This type of research is quantitative research with an experimental method approach. The results of the research in this thesis, the learning model used in this study is Number Head Together (NHT). The obstacles encountered in implementing the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning method are first, students are not familiar with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning method. Second, the relationship between students and friends in one discussion group in teaching and learning activities is still lacking. Third, the participation and seriousness of students in teaching and learning activities is still lacking. Fourth, the lack of effective use of time in teaching and learning activities. Fifth, there were some students who could not answer the questions. The solution to facing these obstacles is the need to use the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning method in learning, not only in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education but in other subjects. In addition, it is necessary to reduce the use of the lecture method in the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning method, and a teacher needs to look at the abilities of each student, so that the distribution of groups is fair and equitable. The use of the Numbered Heads Together method affects student learning outcomes. It is known that there is a significant (real) difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. In addition, seen from the results of posttest calculations for the experimental class using the Numbered Heads Together method, the average value was 77.70. this shows a higher value compared to the control class that does not use the Numbered Heads Together method obtained 65.00. Thus the average value of student learning outcomes taught by the Numbered Heads Together method is significantly higher than the students taught not using the Numbered Heads Together method.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach, where the symptoms are measured using numbers. The results of the research in this thesis, There is a significant positive relationship between the development of teaching materials on students' understanding of class VII Islamic Education subjects. This is evidenced by the results obtained, namely by using the product moment correlation formula, the correlation index value is obtained of 0.808 which ranges from 0.70 to 0.90, this means that there is a significant correlation between variable X and variable Y, namely a strong or high correlation. Then by examining the table of the value of "r" product moment, it turns out that with a df of 50 at the 5% significance level, the "r" table is 0.297, then at the 1% significance level the value is 0.361 . If we look at the number " Barriers to understanding students in class VII Islamic Education subjects are not entirely due to the development of teaching materials, but it is likely that these teaching materials have indeed become one of the factors that can affect the inhibition of student understanding. This is evidenced by 100% of the development of teaching materials in accordance with KI and KD.
