Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a strategic effort to improve public health. Low implementation of PHBS remains a public health problem, contributing to increasing morbidity. Health education is an effective promotive approach to encourage behavior change in the community. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on changes in clean and healthy living behavior. The study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach. The sample consisted of 60 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a PHBS questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively and comparatively. The results showed an increase in PHBS behavior after health education. It was concluded that health education has an effect on changes in clean and healthy living behavior.

Abstract

Evidence-Based Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is an approach to nursing practice that integrates the best scientific evidence, nurses' clinical expertise, and patient values and preferences. The implementation of EBP-based nursing care is expected to improve the quality of care and patient safety. However, in practice, the implementation of EBP by nurses still faces various challenges. This study aims to determine the implementation of Evidence-Based Nursing Care. Practice in nursing services. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive analytical design and a cross-sectional approach. Sectional. The research sample was nurses in health care facility X. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed univariately and bivariately. The results showed that most nurses had implemented EBP-based nursing care in a good category, but there were still nurses who had not optimally utilized scientific evidence. The conclusion of this study is that the application of EBP in nursing care needs to be continuously improved through education and organizational support.

Abstract

Smoking is a major risk factor for respiratory health problems. The harmful substances in cigarettes, such as nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, can cause respiratory tract irritation, decreased lung function, and increased the risk of chronic respiratory diseases. This study aims to determine the relationship between smoking behavior and respiratory health problems. The study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a smoking behavior questionnaire and a respiratory complaints questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Chi- Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between smoking behavior and respiratory health problems (p < 0.05). It was concluded that smoking behavior is closely related to an increased risk of respiratory health problems.
