Abstract

The background of this research is motivated by the shy students comprehension of mathematical concept class VIII SMPN 1 Bayang academic year 2013/2014. This study aims to determine whether students math concept comprehension by applying Active Learning types of Learning Starts With a Question better than student math concept comprehension with conventional learning. This type of research is experimental with the population of grade VIII SMPN1 Bayang academic year 2013/2014. Technique of random sampling, with VIII.1 as experimental class and VIII.3 as control class . Instrument used in this study is a test of  math concept comprehension in the form of essays with a reliability test R11 = 0,75 , data analysis technique used is the one party t test with the help of software MINITAB. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average post-test experimental class students is 76.26 higher than the control class it is 63.65 and the classes is normally distributed samples at significance level (α) = 0,05. From the results obtained hypothesis test p-value = 0,005 , then the hypothesis in this study received , so it can be concluded that the students math concept comprehension by learning the type of Active Learning types of Learning Starts With a Question better than the students math concept comprehension with conventional learning in class VIII SMPN1 Bayang academic year 2013/2014.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari strategi “ Probable Passage” terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh  masih ada siswa yang kesulitan dalam menemukan ide pokok dan memahami teks yang dibaca. Dalam pemilihan sample, peneliti menggunakan Cluster sampling, sebelum memilih sample peneliti terlebih dahulu menentukan normalitas dan homogenitas data dengan menggunakan Sofware Minitab. Data yang diambil untuk menentukan sample adalah nilai ujian semester 1. Kelas yang digunakan sebagai kelas ekperimen adalah kelas X1, sebagai kelas kontrol adalah  kelas X2 dan sebagai kelas tryout adalah X3. Adapun bentuk penelitian ini adalah pretest and posttest control group design.. Instrumen dari penelitian ini adalah reading test dalam bentuk multiple choice test. peneliti melakukan pretest di kelas ekperimen dan kontrol. Kemudian melakukan treatment di kelas ekperimen. Peneliti mengadakan Posttest. Peneliti mendapatkan t-hitung 3, 47  lebih besar dari t-table 2,00. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi  Probable Passage mampu menigkatkan nilai siswa dalam pembelajaran reading.

Abstract

ABSTRACK  Effect of Motivation on Employee Performance In Provincial Revenue Office of East Kalimantan.The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of motivation on employee performance at the Provincial Revenue Office of East Kalimantan. The analysis tool used is the Simple Linear Regression. Sampling using the specified method, with a total sample of 45 employees of the Office of East Kalimantan Provincial Revenue from data obtained through questionnaires.Simple regression analysis results between employee motivation and performance variables obtained by the equation Y = 1.83 + 0.5127 X. Further correlation r value of 0.616. After the results of the analysis are compared with the r table (table critical value) where N = 45 with a significance level of 0.05, it turns out empirical count r is greater than r table (0.616> 0.3059). Thus the working hypothesis (hi) be accepted as true and reject the null hypothesis (ho). This means that there is influence between employee motivation employee performance at the Provincial Revenue Office of East Kalimantan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the influence of local revenue (PAD), general allocation fund (DAU), sharing-revenue fund (DBH), and degree of decentralization againts capital expenditure in regencies / cities in Aceh region. The population in this study were all local governments in Aceh Region during 2011-2014. In Aceh, there are 23 districts / cities which consists of 18 counties and 5 cities.The method used in this research is census. The data used is secondary data obtained Budget Realization Report of the Provincial Finance Department. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis.The results showed that, together local revenue, general allocation fund (DAU), and sharing-revenue fund (DBH) againts capital expenditure in regencies / cities in Aceh region. Local revenue positive effect on capital expenditure in regencies / cities in Aceh Region. The general allocation fund has no effect on capital expenditure in regencies / cities in Aceh Region. Revenue-sharing is no effect on capital expenditure in regencies / cities in Aceh Region.Keywords:capital expenditure, fund local own revenue (PAD), general allocation fund (DAU), sharing-revenue fund (DBH)

Abstract

Participation is one of the fundamental aspects in the course of the Democratic administration. In this study, the Womens Political Participation in the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) is quite high. It can be seen from their involvement in the management of the party. But the discussion of womens issues in politics and always have ups and downs of a womens political participation in the City field. From the results of this research note that womens political involvement or participation in the MCC is quite high. It is caused by several factors, including the most dominant cultural factors, and factors are less known women from the MCC. To keep pace with the need to understand the role and the authority held and used for the progress of women. The problems described in this study is the low level of political participation of women in Medan City Council 2009-2014 period, as pemeenuhan quota of 30% women candidates who have not really seriously implemented by parties that exist in Indonesia.

Abstract

Political participation is the activity of a person or group of people to participate actively in political life is to choose the leader of the State, and, directly or indirectly, influence government policy. Therefore the aim of this study to determine the factors - factors that affect the low involvement (participation) University students on Election Kingdom Riau Riau University in 2015. The theory is considered relevant in this matter is the Theory of Participation and Organization Theory. This research is a kind of quantitative methods of research, then for descriptive analysis of the data presented in the form of numbers by SPSS. The research conducted at the University of Riau and take samples of the data in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This study uses the techniques of sampling of the population is involved directly or indirectly in the Electoral Kingdom University of Riau in 2015.PEMIRA University of Riau (UR) was first performed in 2002 in accordance with the results of the Riau University Student Congress IX in 2002 (one of the recommendations of Congress as well as change of Riau Puok Section IV, Article 2 of the President and Vice President of the Student directly). Later in 2015 The results of this study indicate the factors causing low levels of student participation which, seen from the socialization, the team's performance a success, popularity aspiring actor, and the involvement of students in the institution, but the results of the elections highway in 2015 when it carried out the socialization at the University of Riau particular Faculty of Social and Political Sciences students tend to participate less in terms of process pemlihan highway University of Riau, supposedly with this participation activities performed by students of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences can be more enthusiastic in terms of the electoral process highways University of Riau in 2015.Keywords: Participation, Election Kingdom, University of Riau

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pelayanan Administarsi Akademik Pada Program Studi Pendidikan Adminstrasi Perkantoran Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Makassar. Fokus dalam  penelitian ini adalah gambaran layanan Administrasi Akademik pada Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Makassar. Berdasarkan fokus penelitian tersebut, selanjutnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Pelayanan Administrasi Akademik pada Prodi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Fakultas ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Makassar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif,  sedangkan yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah Pejabat Prodi sekaligus Dosen Perkantoran, Tenaga Teknis Dan perwakilan Mahasiswa Perkantoran Tiap angkatan dari angkatan 2012-2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil reduksi data maka hasil penelitian  ini menunjukkan bahwa, layanan administrasi akademik yang berkualitas di Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran FIS UNM masih belum terlaksana secara efektif dan efesien.

Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana PerananHuman Relations terhadap Motivasi Kerja Pegawai Pada Kelompok Sadar Wisata Kampung Linggang Melapeh Kecamatan Linggang Bigung Kabupaten Kutai Barat . Penelitian dilakukan terhadap Pegawai di Kantor tersebut melalui dua variabal, yakni Variabel Human Relations dengan indikator Hubungan Formal, Hubungan Non Formal, dan Pemberian Bimbingan dan Pengarahan. Sedang untuk Variabel Motivasi Kerja Pegawai dengan indikator Pemberian Insentif Kesempatan Mengikuti Pendidikan dan Kenaikan Pangkat. Penulis mengadakan penelitian dengan menggunakan kuisioner dan mengadakan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan rumus Harga Relativ dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa Hubungan antar Pimpinan dan Pegawai berjalan dengan cukup baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang Human Relations pada indicator hubungan formal di lingkungan Kelompok Sadar Wisata Kampung Linggang Melapeh Kecamatan Linggang Bigung Kabupaten Kutai Barat terbina dan terjalin dengan cukup baik antara Pimpinan dan Pegawai.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the relationship of individual characteristics, organizational culture, and organizational commitment to employee performance and motivation as a moderating variable in the study of plant employees outpatient Hospital Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Poor This research is explanatory. Samples in this study used a sample of 113 respondents 84 employees who work on installation of outpatient Hospital Dr. Results of analysis Partial Least Square (PLS) This study shows that the individual character relationships, organizational culture, different organizational commitment remains significant positive effect on employee performance, motivation to strengthen the relationship between individual characteristics, organizational culture, and organizational commitment to employee performance.Keywords: individual characteristics, organizational culture, organizational commitment, motivation, employee performance.
