Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memperkenalkan permainan bulutangkis kepada peserta didik di TK Khalifah Cendikia dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan diskusi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pengenalan permainan bulutangkis di taman kanak-kanak telah membawa dampak positif yang signifikan, meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam olahraga tersebut. Data menunjukkan peningkatan yang berarti dalam kepemilikan peralatan bulutangkis dan observasi mengindikasikan bahwa peserta didik lebih sering terlibat dalam permainan bulutangkis dibandingkan dengan permainan lainnya. Selain itu, pengalaman bermain bulutangkis memberikan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan menyumbang pada kesejahteraan mental peserta didik, sambil memfasilitasi interaksi sosial dan pembentukan persahabatan. Secara keseluruhan, pengenalan permainan bulutangkis di usia dini merupakan langkah yang penting dalam mempromosikan gaya hidup sehat dan aktif di kalangan anak-ana. Memperkenalkan permainan bulutangkis telah memberikan hasil yang positif dalam hal kesehatan fisik, pengembangan keterampilan, interaksi sosial, dan kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan di antara para peserta. Dengan menyediakan platform yang terstruktur dan menyenangkan untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik, bulutangkis berkontribusi pada komunitas yang sehat dan bersemangat

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the motor skills and self-confidence of students at SDN Inpres 127 Moncongloethrough basic Taekwondo training. The program was conducted over 12 weeks, involving 40 students from grades IV and V. The implementation method included three stages: preparation involving coordination with the school and training module development; execution consisting of pretests, training, and posttests; and evaluation and follow-up. The results indicated significant improvements in students' motor skills in locomotor aspects and object control, as well as increased self-confidence in facing challenges and social interactions. The success of this program suggests that basic Taekwondo training can be an effective alternative for physical and psychological development in elementary students. Sustainability can be achieved by establishing a Taekwondo club at the school and providing training for physical education teachers.

Abstract

This community service activity in the form of game-based football training aims to improve teamwork skills in elementary school students through a fun and inclusive approach. The activity was carried out at SD Negeri 156 Buntu, Gandangbatu Sillanan District, Tana Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi with the involvement of 30 students as participants. The methods used in this training are demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation through modified soccer games that emphasize the cooperation aspect. The training was carried out for 8 weeks with the intensity of meetings 2 times a week. The results showed a significant improvement in teamwork skills, communication between players, and basic football skills in participants measured through structured observation and feedback questionnaires. The biggest improvement was seen in the aspect of verbal communication when playing and the willingness to share the ball with teammates. This activity has a positive impact on the development of social and physical skills of students in rural areas who have limited access to quality sports training.

Abstract

Teachers are the main actors in implementing effective and meaningful learning for students. At UPTD SDN 34 Pakere, teachers have shown high dedication in carrying out their teaching duties but still face challenges in integrating physical activities into daily learning processes. Limited understanding of physical activity-based learning methods and lack of practical experience in implementing them are the main obstacles. This Community Service activity aims to improve teacher competence through on-the-job training (OJT) assistance in integrating physical activities into classroom learning. The implementation method uses a descriptiveparticipatory approach involving 12 teachers from UPTD SDN 34 Pakere. The activity was carried out through stages of socialization, practical workshops, implementation assistance in the classroom, and joint reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out qualitatively through direct observation, interviews, and activity documentation. The results showed that OJT assistance was able to increase teachers’ understanding of the importance of integrating physical activity in learning, improve practical skills in designing and implementing physical activitybased learning, and increase teachers’ confidence in innovating in the classroom. Teachers began to understand that physical activity is not only important for student health, but can also improve concentration, learning motivation, and student learning outcomes. The OJT approach that provides direct assistance in the field has proven effective in helping teachers overcome technical barriers and improve the implementation of more active and enjoyable learning. This activity shows that OJT assistance can be an applicable and sustainable teacher professional development strategy in elementary school environments.
