Abstract

Clove agribusiness management requires institutional improvement efforts. This study aims to identify and analyze institutional roles related to the development of clove agribusiness in Tidore Kepulauan City. This research was carried out for 2 months starting from January-February 2021 in East Tidore District, Tidore City Islands. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the research it shows that there are 8 (eight) types of institutions involved in the development of clove agribusiness including: 1). Farmers Group which acts as a forum for cooperation in clove agribusiness activities. 2). Gapoktan as a forum for mediating the extension of government programs in carrying out policies in the agricultural sector. 3). The Department of Agriculture plays a role in facilitating farmers in clove farming activities through various activities including providing assistance with ready-to-plant clove seeds and providing road infrastructure. 4). The Office of Perindagkop and UKM plays a role in monitoring the use of measuring, measuring and weighing instruments in trading activities for food needs. 5). The Agricultural Extension Center has a role as an institution that conveys government policies. 6). The Regional Public Company (Perumda) plays a role in purchasing cloves at prices prevailing in Ternate 7). Traders of Production Facilities play a role in providing production facilities such as seeds, fertilizers, medicines and agricultural tools. 8). Collector traders play a role in buying clove products from farmers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the marketing channel, the size of the margin and the profit level of curly chili marketing in the Gosalaha Market, Tidore Islands City. This research was conducted at the Gosalaha Market, Tidore City Islands, on the grounds that it is a trading center for traders. The research time was carried out for approximately 2 months, starting from November to December 2022 starting from data collection to compiling research results. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Data Collection Techniques by Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results showed that the curly chili marketing pattern at Gosalaha Market, Tidore City includes 2 marketing patterns, namely, curly chili marketing pattern 1, curly chili marketing pattern 2.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze income, the level of welfare of the households of Topo local shallot farmers in Topo Village, Tidore District, Tidore Islands City, Maluku Province. This type of research is quantitative research. The research was carried out for approximately 2 months, from November to December 2022. The analytical method used in this research is quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. the research results show that: (1) The total income of the 28 respondent farmers is IDR 178,913,250. where as many as 21 people with an income of 1-10 million and as many as 7 people with an income of 11-20 million. With an average income per harvest of IDR 6,389,759. (2) The level of household welfare of shallot farmers in Topo Village, Tidore District, Tidore Islands City, North Maluku Province is mostly prosperous with a total percentage of 93%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the sago plantation business in Aketobololo Village, Oba Tengah District, Tidore Islands City. Sago sampling was taken using the saturated sample method, namely determining the sample by taking the entire population of sago entrepreneurs in Aketobololo Village, totaling 10 (ten) respondents. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data with the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The analytical tools used are income analysis and business feasibility analysis. The results showed that in Aketobololo Village, Oba Tengah District, Tidore Islands City, the total production obtained by sago entrepreneurs in one year 2022 was 6,240 tumang with a selling price of IDR 120,000-130,000/tumang. So the total amount of income earned by sago entrepreneurs is IDR 724,636,548 in one year of tumang sago production. With an average total income earned by sago entrepreneurs of IDR 72,463,655. The feasibility of the sago tumang entrepreneur is 122, so the sagau business run by the sago entrepreneur is worth farming because the R/C value is more than one.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price on the decision to buy lettuce in Kabong Cahaya, Tomagoba Village, Tidore City, Islands, North Maluku Province. This research was carried out from August to October 2020. The consideration for the research location that the authors take is that the range of research locations is still reachable. This type of research is quantitative research, the object of research that the authors take is consumers in the Tomagoba Village. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to all lettuce consumers according to the research samples in the field. The data analysis used is simple regression analysis. The results showed that the price variable had a positive effect on the decision to buy lettuce. Thus if farmers set an affordable selling price, it will affect a large number of purchasing decisions for lettuce and can increase income and business continuity of Kabong Cahaya Tomagoba.

Abstract

This research is entitled Marketing Strategy Analysis of Ground Water Spinach Plants (Ipomoea reptans poir) (Case Study: Koa Madiyahi Farmer Group, Cobodoe Village, East Tidore District, Tidore Islands City, North Maluku Province). This thesis research will begin in July 2023 to August 2024. The research location consideration that the author took was that the research location could still be reached. This type of research is qualitative research with data collection using interview guidelines with informants who the author determines based on criteria. The results of this research show that the inhibiting factors for implementing marketing strategies for land kale plants are prolonged hot weather, lack of business capital; and the many pressures of competition with other sellers. So the solution given is to look for additional workers outside of farmer groups, provide sufficient supplies of water and fertilizer and strengthen business capital so that they can buy fertilizer and superior seeds. Apart from that, the Koa Madiyahi farmer group has implemented a marketing strategy that uses Product, Price, Promotion and Place indicators well so that it can increase profits from sales of land kale products.

Abstract

Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) are types of plants that grow both inside and outside forest areas. NFPs or Non-Tinber Forest Products have a very strategic value. NFPs are a group of farmers or individuals who group themselves and manage forestry businesses both inside and outside forest areas which include timber forest product businesses, non-timber forest products, and environmental services to improve welfare based on the principles of family, welfare, equality, participation and self-reliance. KTH Majojo is located in Tuguwaji Village, Tidore District, Tidore Islands City. The products produced by KTH Majojo are non-timber forest products. This research was conducted from July to August 2024. Research Location At KTH Majojo, Tuguwaji Village, Tidore Islands City. This location was chosen as the research location because it was to see the income of the products produced by KTH Majojo. The results of this study indicate that the products produced by KTH Majojo are: Guraka Water, Sarabati, Gura Coffee and Kua Rujak from several products produced by KTH Majojo, which had an income in 2023 of IDR 7,325,000, which was obtained from the total income (TR) of IDR 18,000,000 minus the total cost (TC) of IDR. 10. 675,000 thus the income obtained during the implementation of production activities for 3 times in 2023, namely in February, June and September is Rp. 2,441,666, while the average monthly income is Rp. 610,000
