Abstract

Algoritma Deep Learning MLP menghasilkan akurasi tertinggi yaitu 84%.

Abstract

Mental health is an important aspect of human life. Depression, anxiety and stress are some of the most common mental health disorders. These disorders can negatively impact daily life, including productivity, social relationships, and an individual's quality of life, requiring accurate prediction for early intervention. One of the psychological measurement tools used to assess a person's level of depression, anxiety, and stress is the DASS-42 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scales - Long Form). In addition to the DASS-42 results, demographic factors such as age, gender, education level, and social status are important to analyze to strengthen the analysis. Machine learning (ML) is a powerful tool for analyzing complex data such as predicting psychological demographic factors associated with these mental health conditions. This study explores the potential of ML using a comprehensive dataset, using K-Nearest Neighbor and Support Vector Machine algorithms to assess prediction performance. The findings highlighted the effectiveness of ML models in predicting depression, anxiety and stress with high accuracy. The best algorithm in this study for the classification of depression, anxiety and stress is SVM with 99% accuracy but the use of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) technic to process additional variables affects the accuracy of the model so it can be concluded that demographic variables have an influence on the classification of depression, anxiety and stress.

Abstract

Abstract Cardiovascular disease (CVD) continues to be the top cause of fatality on a global scale, accounting for more than 70% of mortality worldwide. Early detection is crucial to reduce the risk of complications and death, but conventional methods often have difficulty identifying complex patterns in large medical data. To mitigate this issue, the current research offers a machine learning-based combinative approach that integrates unsupervised learning techniques such as k-modes clustering with boosting-based supervised classification algorithms, such as Adaptive Boost (Adaboost), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM), and Category Boost (CatBoost). The core value of this research stems from its utilization of data segmentation through clustering before the classification process, which aims to refine the dependability and correctness of the model to the complexity of medical data. The dataset used comes from Kaggle with a total of 70,000 patient data. Evaluation findings demonstrate that the LightGBM algorithm outperforms others, achieving 91.49% accuracy, followed by CatBoost and XGBoost. Meanwhile, AdaBoost showed the lowest performance. This approach significantly improved the prediction performance compared to previous approaches that only used a single classification method. Thus, the integration of clustering and boosting proved to be an effective strategy in detecting CVD early and has great potential to be implemented in an efficient and accurate clinical decision support system.

Abstract

Abstract In the era of rapid digital transformation, software has become a critical component across various sectors. However, it has also become an increasingly attractive target for cybersecurity threats. One of the most concerning threats is the backdoor, a hidden vulnerability that is illicitly inserted into software, enabling unauthorized access while bypassing traditional security mechanisms. This study aims to develop a more accurate and comprehensive backdoor detection method by integrating Static Code Analysis and Software Component Analysis. Feature representation is performed using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), and the resulting feature vectors are used as input for several Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, including Logistic Regression, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Random Forest, Decision Tree, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, LightGBM, AdaBoost, Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The dataset consists of 128 source code samples, comprising 60 backdoor and 68 benign samples, collected from public repositories and manually curated to ensure data quality and relevance. Experimental results demonstrate that XGBoost and KNN achieve the highest classification accuracy of 96.15%, followed by MLP, LSTM, and AdaBoost with an accuracy of 92.31%. These findings indicate that integrating static code analysis, component-based vulnerability inspection, and machine learning techniques can significantly improve the effectiveness of backdoor detection. Furthermore, the proposed approach has the potential to support automated backdoor detection within DevSecOps pipelines, thereby enhancing software security before deployment.
