Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Experiential Learning Model on Students' Science Literacy Skills on Clean Water Absorption Material in Grade IV of SDN Sumokembangsri 1. Thesis, This study aims to describe and analyze the experiential learning model on clean water absorption material in grade IV of SDN Sumokembangsri 1. This study uses a quantitative method with a sampling technique using random sampling. The population in this study were grades IV and V. The sample in this study was 29 grade IV participants. This study uses observation data collection techniques and test techniques. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the results of the pretest conducted before the treatment obtained an average of 44 after the treatment was given an average of 64. Based on the results obtained, the effectiveness of the experiential learning model on science literacy skills is at a high level. The use of the experiential learning model is effective in scientific literacy skills, because the results of the hypothesis test analysis obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that the experiential learning model is effective in scientific literacy skills of students on the material on the absorption of clean water in class IV of SDN Sumokembangsri 1.
