Abstract

Television continues to look for ways to carry out its communication strategy in order to be the best in its segment by increasing ratings. In essence, communication strategy has planning and management to achieve a goal, namely optimizing the presence of technology, as well as a transfer of new ideas on a larger scale designed to change human behavior. This research is based on a qualitative approach and uses content analysis. The data was collected from April to November 2023. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The research results: First, It can be concluded that the first division to manage digital promos since 2017. Initially Rajawali TV only utilized onair and offair promos. The range of promo broadcasts no longer depends on broadcast hours or broadcast slots. Second, managing promos on social media and the process of creating and processing contents so as to create interaction and get input from the audience, invite to disseminate promo content and RTV benefits from additional income from Youtube. Third, the results of social media utilization are seen to help increase ratings. However, there need to be other factors to increase program ratings consistently, such as content, program content itself, broadcast hours, geographic factors, social economic strata, competing tv factors.

Abstract

Menuju era Smart Society 5.0, manusia kembali menjadi pusat peradaban namun tentu saja dituntut untuk menguasai teknologi. Namun, pada kenyataannya tidak semua masyarakat Indonesia mampu mengikuti tuntutan zaman ini. Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah yang berada di Desa Sukaharja, Cijeruk Kabupaten Bogor termasuk kelompok masyarakat yang masih tertinggal dengan kemajuan teknologi. Tiga permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah berkenaan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yaitu; proses pencatatan administrasi yang masih manual, rendahnya literasi digital, dan penyebaran informasi yang masih konvensional. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melakukan digitalisasi dengan menitikberatkan pada sistem administrasi, literasi, dan informasi. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan menerapkan 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diantaranya dalam bidang administrasi yaitu terciptanya prototipe pembukuan sederhana yang memberikan kontribusi besar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman staf mengenai pengelolaan keuangan dan administrasi yang secara sistem juga memudahkan pengelolaan keuangan di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah semakin efisien, selain itu dalam bidang literasi digital kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada para santri mengenai pemanfaatan media digital. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, tim pengabdi telah memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam meningkatkan digitalisasi di bidang administrasi, literasi digital, dan akses informasi. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diberikan diharapkan mampu memberikan manfaat nyata bagi Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hidayah secara umum dan para santri serta santriwati secara khusus dalam pengelolaan keuangan, penggunaan teknologi digital, serta akses informasi yang efektif.

Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly transformed human life, with increasing digitalization across various aspects. However, in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, these advancements have disrupted the role of humans, raising concerns about the potential loss of humanity's essence. In response to these challenges, Japan introduced the concept of Smart Society 5.0 in 2019 to mitigate the negative impacts of this disruption by re-establishing humans as the central element in modern life. As a form of community service, the service team developed the program "Simple Financial Application as a Medium for Financial Management at Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School," located in Sukaharja, Cijeruk, Bogor Regency. The primary issue faced by the partner was the manual nature of financial management, which increased the risk of recording errors and discrepancies in financial data. This activity aimed to digitize the financial administration system and improve the digital literacy of the students and staff at the boarding school through seminars, training, and mentoring. The methods employed included a holistic approach involving observation, interviews, digital financial literacy seminars, training on using Android-based financial applications, and both online and offline mentoring over three months. The results demonstrated an improvement in the partner's ability to use financial technology, enhanced efficiency in recording financial transactions, and increased transparency in fund management. This activity contributed to Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School by strengthening staff capabilities in digital-based financial management and fostering community empowerment through the utilization of technology to achieve sustainable and efficient financial management.
