Abstract

This research aims to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of Hindu religious education and character in color chess material in the life of the CTL (Contextual Teaching And Learning) learning model for class X SMAN 2 Kasongan students. This research is classroom action research with the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning. The subjects of this research were 6 Hindu students at SMAN-2 Kasongan class X. Data collection techniques use observation sheets, documentation and test results. Based on the actions that have been taken, implementing the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model can increase student activity in learning activities. This can be proven that learning activity has increased from the initial condition of 11 students or 37.93%, in cycle I there were 19 students or 65.52%, and in cycle II there were 27 students or 93.10%. Student learning outcomes in the initial study were only 62.07 to 67.93 and 82.76 in the second cycle, with a learning completeness level of 9 students or 31.03%, in the first cycle there were 14 students or 48.28%, and in the second cycle there were 25 students or 86.21%, although there were still 4 students (13.79%) who had not completed it, but because all the criteria for the success of the learning process had been achieved in the second cycle, it was stated that the learning improvement process was complete and successful in the second cycle. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar pendidikan agama hindu dan budi pekerti materi catur warna dalam kehidupan model pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching And Learning) siswa kelas X SMAN 2 kasongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penerapan Contextual Teaching and Learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi Agama Hindu SMAN-2 Kasongan kelas X sebanyak 6 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, dokumentasi, dan hasil tes. Berdasarkan tindakan yang telah dilakukan penerapan model pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa keaktifan belajar mengalami peningkatan dari kondisi awal sebanyak 11 siswa atau 37,93%, siklus I ada 19 siswa atau 65,52%, dan pada siklus II ada 27 siswa atau 93,10%. Hasil belajar siswa pada studi awal hanya 62,07 menjadi 67,93 dan 82,76 pada siklus kedua, dengan tingkat ketuntasan belajar sebanyak 9 siswa atau 31,03%, siklus I ada 14 siswa atau 48,28%, dan pada siklus II ada 25 siswa atau 86,21%, walaupun masih ada 4 siswa (13,79%) yang belum tuntas namun karena semua kriteria keberhasilan proses pembelajaran telah tercapai pada siklus kedua maka dinyatakan bahwa proses perbaikan pembelajaran selesai dan berhasil pada siklus kedua.
