Abstract

Abstract. Leadership is connected with who is the leader and who are the followers. It also related with the influence of the leader. Woman leadership is controversial issue especially within patriarchal culture. While The bible doesn’t explain about leadership, It’s telling the story and giving life examples about leadership which mostly are male leadership. So where is the role for woman leadership in the bible? The bibilcal study of Judges 4-5 was done to find a pattern and character that was shown by Deborah, a woman leader. The bible record that Deborah “was leading Israel at that time” Judges 4:4 . That explain that Debora takes the role of leader for Israel in the time of judges. From her story we can study how she led and the pattern that she used as woman leader, that is “a team leadership” where she led Israel side by side with Barak.

Abstract

Immoral and criminal acts by social actors in religious and cultural communities are a barometer of the low quality of theological values education. These social facts are gaining more and more space in the post-truth era. This confirms that there is a problem in Theological Education of Values that needs to be critiqued again in order to achieve maximum results. Therefore, the researcher developed a research question, namely, how to recontextualise theological values education in the post-truth era. The question is based on the research gap and is also the main basis for the novelty of this research. By developing Teun Adrianus van Dijk's critical discourse analysis perspective on Romans 1:18-32, the researcher found that the passage highlights Christian values education and provides four recommendations to address the problems and challenges that arise in the post-truth era, including: first, developing a critical and constructive attitude towards narrative; second, developing a comprehensive understanding of identity and its representation; third, promoting and implementing interfaith dialogue and tolerance; and fourth, using the media wisely. These four things are important to be implemented by theological values education activists to respond to any negative phenomenon in the present and transform it into positive and constructive based on God's truths. Tindakan-tindakan amoral dan kriminal dari aktor-aktor sosial dalam masyarakat agama dan budaya menjadi barometer atas rendahnya kualitas Pendidikan Nilai Teologis. Fakta sosial tersebut semakin mendapatkan ruang di era post-truth. Hal ini menegaskan, bahwa ada masalah dalam Pendidikan Nilai Teologi yang selama ini telah berlangsung perlu dikritisi kembali guna mendapatkan hasil maksimal. Karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan satu pertanyaan penelitian, yaitu bagaimana rekontekstualisasi Pendidikan nilai Teologi di Era Post-truth? Pertanyaan tersebut didasarkan atas celah penelitian dan sekaligus menjadi pijakan utama kebaruan penelitian ini. Dengan mengembangkan perspektif Analisa Wacana Kritis dari Teun Adrianus van Dijk atas Roma 1:18-32, peneliti menemukan bahwa perikop tersebut menekankan Pendidian Nilai Kristiani dan memberikan empat rekomendasi untuk menyikapi permasalahan dan tantangan yang muncul di era post-truth antara lain: pertama, mengembangkan sikap kritis dan konstruktif terhadap narasi; kedua, mengembangkan pemahaman komprehensif tentang identitas serta representasinya; ketiga, mempromosikan dan melaksanakan dialog lintas iman dan toleransi; dan keempat, mempergunakan media dengan bijaksana. Keempat hal tersebut menjadi penting dilaksanakan oleh penggiat Pendidikan Nilai Teologis guna  menyikapi setiap fenomena negatif dalam kekinian dan mengubahnya menjadi positif serta konstruktif berdasarkan kebenaran-kebenaran Allah.

Abstract

The era of disruption, marked by the acceleration of digital technology and globalization, has significantly transformed the way humans interact and build social relationships. While digital technology, including social media, facilitates fast and broad communication, it also presents risks such as rising individualism and social alienation. This study aims to analyze the meaning and urgency of true friendship as reflected in Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 and to evaluate its relevance in addressing social challenges in the digital disruption era. The research employed a qualitative method using an exegetical approach and literature review. The findings reveal that although digital technology enhances virtual connectivity, it cannot replace the need for emotional closeness and meaningful interpersonal engagement. Quality friendship provides essential emotional and spiritual support in navigating modern life pressures. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for Christian communities to build relationships grounded in love, loyalty, and honesty. By balancing the use of digital technology with meaningful face-to-face interactions and placing God at the center of relationships, individuals can live a more holistic and harmonious life.
