Abstract

This study aims to reveal the meaning of Rasta Sewakottama in human resource management at Palopo City Police Station. Using qualitative phenomenological methods, this research found that to improve organizational performance, reduce violations of laws and violations of the code of ethics required collective awareness, a sense of responsibility, respect for differences and self-development. This can be achieved optimally by the example of the leader and the ability of the Human Resources unit to place personnel. Formation is done through weekly activities such as spiritual guidance and counseling. In addition, optimization of information systems is used by the National Police to monitor the performance of each personnel. The meaning of the philosophy of Rasta Sewakottama according to the Palopo City Police Chief is the deepest awareness of all police members to carry out state duties as guardians of public order and security. Through this personal awareness, the potential for violating the code of ethics and other violations of the law can be minimized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, competence and training on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Department of Agriculture and Food, East Luwu Regency. The sample was selected using the slovin formula and a total of 130 samples were obtained. The data used with a quantitative approach. The analysis used inferential statistics with structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques based on variance (VB). The analysis tool used is SMART PLS 3.0. The results showed: (1) Employee performance is positively and not significantly influenced by motivation, while competence and training positively and significantly affect performance. (2) Job satisfaction is positively and significantly influenced by motivation, competency and training. (3) Job satisfaction serves as an intervening variable that has a positive and significant effect on motivation, competence and training on employee performance. Therefore, this research can also be used by local governments, especially in the East Luwu Regency Region, as reference material on improving employee performance through job satisfaction by increasing work motivation, increasing competency and increasing employee job training.

Abstract

This study explores how parental involvement and character education operate as strategic instruments of Human Resource Development (HRD) in preventing adolescent drug abuse. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected from 15 adolescents and their parents in Palopo, Indonesia. Thematic analysis revealed that peer influence, emotional neglect, and the absence of structured value education were key factors contributing to youth vulnerability. In contrast, families practicing consistent value transmission, emotional support, and dialogic parenting enhanced adolescent behavioral resilience. The findings position the family as a foundational site of early-stage HRD, where emotional intelligence, moral reasoning, and decision-making competencies are developed. The study offers practical implications for HRD policy and practice, emphasizing the integration of family-based interventions and value-oriented parenting in national strategies to strengthen youth behavior and human capital in emerging communities

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana faktor-faktor seperti kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja memengaruhi loyalitas pegawai di Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Luwu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 72 pegawai dan sampel sebanyak 61 responden yang diambil menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linear berganda, dan uji T, F, dan R2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel independen berdampak positif dan signifikan pada loyalitas pegawai. dengan nilai signifikansi sebagai berikut: kepemimpinan (0,048), kepuasan kerja (0,031), dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja (0,003). Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pegawai, organisasi perlu memperhatikan aspek kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, dan keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi pegawai.

Abstract

Service quality and customer satisfaction are one of the determining factors for success in business services, including animal health services. The purpose of this study is to explore the dimensions of influence service quality, customer satisfaction through loyalty to repurchase interest at Jinan Pet Care and Veterinary Palopo. In this study, using a quantitative approach. The data collected were 238 clients at Jinan Pet Care and Veterinary Palopo using a structured questionnaire, and the theoretical model was tested using the least partial structured equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results obtained indicate that the service quality variable, loyalty affects repurchase interest resulting in a significance value of 0.000 < from the value of = 0.05, the customer satisfaction variable does not affect loyalty and repurchase interest produces a significance value of 0.444 > from the value of = 0, 05. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengeruh pelatihan dan pengembangan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Pos Indonesia Cabang Palopo. Sampel yang dingunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 37 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah alisis regresi berganda. Nilai signifikan Pelatihan sebesar 0,000 nilai ini berada di bawah 0,05 yang berarti Pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan demikian H1 yang menyatakan bahwa Pelatihan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan diterima.Nilai signifikan Pengembangan sebesar 0,030 nilai ini berada di bawah 0,05 yang berarti Pengembangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan demikian H2 yang menyatakan bahwa Pengembangan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan diterima.Secara simultan bahwa Pelatihan dan Pengembangan secara bersama sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja.
